Christmas House Mouse Mass Cardmaking

I needed to do some mass Christmas Cardmaking and this was what I decided to make. I custom cut the red fronts so as to make A-2 size cards. I started with a set of pre-made card fronts but they were not that size I has wanted so I used that as a template. I loved this Impression Obsession Ornament die and began cutting through a ton of Bazzill gold foil cardstock. Needless to say, I ran out fast!! I bought more and used some Recollections gold as well, except that it has a duller finish. The House Mouse Bow single stamp was a gift from Bunny Here's a previous post of the same card. I am trying to have 40 done by the time I send them out!!! It keeps me busy!
Items used: MISTI, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Copics, Bazzill Gold Foil, Platinum 6 Die Cut machine, Spellbinders All In One Tool, Impression Obsession Ornament die, Red cardstock, A2 size premade cards, Scrapbook.com Magic Mat, Offray gold and red ribbon, Adhesive dots, Fiskars 12" trimmer and clear adhesive.

Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash October Friendship Card

One of my best friends had her 70th birthday this month and so I made this beautiful card with her in mind!! I started by pulling together these Reverse Confetti products:

I first started with a Neenah white cardstock and blended Distress Oxides in Kitsch Flamingo, and Carved Pumpkin with Erin Lee Creative's blending brushes. Also, ink blended to the card front on the right and bottom of the panel. Added Creek Bank Creations Adhesive to the back of the Big Flower Cover panel before die cutting, so as to adhere it down in one piece easily. Then stamped with my MISTI and colored the Orange Blossoms with copics, and die cut them as well. With a 12 inch Fiskars trimmer, I diagonally cut the cover die pieces and adhered them to an A-2 card, of 4.25x5 inches. Added all the elements and then a few sequins to give some sparkle! It was easiest to align everything in the corner of my MISTI. It really means I have a two-fer since the cut is perfectly down the center and I could use more of these cute birthday cards for 2 friends who live in Florida (Oranges blossoms are our national flower) who happen to have October birthdays. The numbers 70 was die cut using the same adhesive backing of the cardstock to make it easiest to apply the numbers. I used Bazzill Gold foil and white cardstocks.

Creek Bank Creations "You Are Love" Card

These are the foam sheets I used and then inked the sides with the same ink I had stamped with, Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn. The dies make a shadow around the word and are included with the stamp set.

I made this card for a close friend that needed something uplifting. I continued with that gorgeous green plaid and wished her a Happy St. Patrick's Day which I hope you are all having today!!

WOW! Embossing with Pinkfresh Studio Geo Leaf Die

My Favorite Color!!

Here are all the products I used!

I wanted to play along with the newest WOW! March challenge and thought of making something with a cover die instead of an embossing folder as Handmade by Tasha did on her Youtube video. For this lovely card, I used my Pinkfresh Studio Geo Leaf Background Cover Die paired with an older set called Pinkfresh Studio Bloom.

Directions: Die cut the cover from Neenah cardstock using the above die and then inked over the whole front with a clear embossing pad. I then sprinkled the WOW Iris embossing powder over the top holding the die cut piece with cotton pliers. I heat embossed after placing it on a cork trivet until the entire cover melted. I did add more embossing and heated again so as to hide where the pliers had held it to cover that spot and get a glossier coverage. It was magical watching the heat process progress across the beautiful front! I took my Bloom stamp which has 2 floral images and the Thank you sentiment and stamped them on a light pink-lavender cardstock using my MISTI tool. After using the same steps, they were also embossed. I then fussy cut them. At this point, I happen to notice I had a dark smoky purple seam binding and since it looked more in contrast with the front color and it gave even better texture contrast to the embossing, I ended up using it instead of the 2nd floral image as planned. A happy coincidence! I popped up both pieces and glued the cover down on another Neenah handmade card front to finish. I put my lovely Lady Head vase next to the card to take the pic, seeing that they matched beautifully! My favorite color is lavender if you haven't noticed.

House Mouse Leprechaun Pop Up Card

I had the idea of making a House Mouse Leprechaun and used the little Celebration House Mouse image which normally has a birthday hat on and switched it with a green top hat fussy cut from the Creek Bank Creations 6x6 Luck of the Irish paper pad. Using the CBC Double Box Popup die with the CBC You are a God Send stamp and die that comes with it, I made the card and sentiments. The "pot of gold" is fussy cut and Gold Rush shaker pieces added inside and the House Mouse is holding one too. They actually shimmer in the light. Am so happy with how cute it came out! I hope this is enough of different Geometric shapes to really count for the challenge itself!!

House Mouse Birthday Card

Here is my card I am playing with today. This is the birthday mouse from the Mini clear set. I have a few of them but not the whole set and this one is a great little guy for so many occasions! I colored him with my COPIC markers in these shades: E00,E11,E33,E35,RV02,RV55,C1,C3 and then fussy cut him out. Nuvo Raspberry Crystal drops were added to his hat for dimension.
The card is totally from Creek Bank Creations using their design and products: Creek Bank Creations Stitched Rectangle and Stitched Label dies, Happy Birthday stamp, Outline Letter Alphabet die, Pixie Dust with puffer to make this adorable card. Also the pink ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon from one of their monthly packs. It can be found in several packs here and here. I am so thrilled to have another adorable birthday card in my stash with so many happening soon!! Thank you for all of your support and hope my card brings a smile on your face!

House Mouse Hugs Get Well Card

Using the Stampendous House Mouse Nurse Mouse for a quick Get Well Card for a friend's mother who just had emergency surgery on New Years Eve!!! The turquoise paper is a gorgeous sparkly color to match the stethoscope for a big punch of color to lift her spirits! I included one of my most favorite Bible verses that reminds me to lean into God during troubling times:

Matthew 11: 28-29 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

The challenge for House Mouse this go round is for "New beginnings" but I feel with all of us still not hugging much less seeing each other as before Covid, sending many "snail mail hugs" as possible is my plan for this new year! Letting people know that they are thought of and loved! I let my friend know that I had sent this and it blessed her especially since she is unable to travel to see her mother in another state!!

The House Mouse images were colored with copic sketch markers: C1, C3, C5, C7, C9, B01, BG11, BG10, R00, R24, R29, E00, E11, E33, E35, W2, W4.

Handmade Poinsettia Christmas Card

I wanted to try making my own handmade Poinsettia to try something new. I began with a Sizzix die of 3 petal sizes. The red is inked with Tea Stain Distress ink and the light blue petals with Broken China Distress Oxide which I also added as the background of the Neenah white cardstock card base. The leaves are from a deep green pattern paper with Christmas sayings and a weave print. The centers and the holy are cut from Bazzill Gold Foil and the holly is from Altenew Wreath Builder die. The pine needles die is Creek Bank Creations cut from Core-dinations Glitzy Green. They added a bit of sparkle to help the balance. I wanted to add just the sentiment of Merry Christmas (Concord & 9th) but I thought it needed some more texture so I added the blue seambinding triple bow for that. Hope you have a very blessed and Merry Christmas!
