Prima Marketing Candy Cane Lane cards

This is some of my cards I made using the Prima Marketing Candy Cane Lane 12x12 papers for this Christmas 2022. Most I added other pattern papers or cardstocks, embossing powder by WOW, ribbons, eyelet and vintage laces, Want2Scrap bling, fussy cutting and bows from a PoppyStamps die. I also inked the sides of the tags and images with Ranger Distress oxides in either Festive berries or Evergreen Bough inks. Hope everyone is having a blessed Christmas week!!

Pretty Pink Posh Merry Christmas Mug Card 2

A big thank you to Pretty Pink Posh for being a Super Sponsor for the Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!! Using their newest releases: Winter Mug DiesWinter Foliage Dies, and their older Merry Christmas die. Also added Pretty Pink Posh Valentine Jewels mix.

To make this card, I added glitter to the marshmallows and background which was a Neenah blue cardstock of #65. I adhered double-sided 6" wide Super Tacky Tape adhesive to the blue paper, and removed the top layer. Using a"Pixie puffer" with Pixie Dust glitter I puffed the glitter onto it the blue cardstock to make the glitter background and evenly coat the whole surface. I ink blended with Candied Apple Distress Ink onto the mug die cut and then adhered the snowflake die piece from the set. Used Mowed Lawn for the 2 sizes of holly leaves and then added the jewels with Art Glitter glue.  This card was #392!! Super big blog hop going on so join if you can!!

Jingle All the Way Christmas Card

This card is the final card of the SCT Magazine #WCMD2022 Card challenge in which we were to weave paper strips together. Here is my version.

Directions: I cut 3 different Spellbinders circles dies from white cardstock with adhesive on both sides so that my strips of colored cardstock would adhere easier. I left the white spaces because it was left to fill with fine white glitter with my Creek Bank Creations Puffer. It worked perfectly. The rest was just designing the rest and gluing them down. Impression Obsession Jingle All the Way die cut from thin gold foil. The embossing folder was Altenew Diamond Stars 3D.

Pretty Pink Posh Merry Wishes Card

I chose the Pretty Pink Posh's Leaves and Berries Stencil with Wendy Vecchi Studio 490 Embossing Paste in gold. Once dried, I used Pretty Pink Posh's Raspberry jewels in place of where the berries were to be. I die cut out another Pinkfresh Studio leafy circle in gold to add the sentiment. This one is from Pretty Pink Posh's Penguin Pals. I added pieces of the same gold metallic cardstock at either end to balance the card. Hope you enjoy it! Thanks for coming by!

TLC Designs Land and Sea Card for SCT Magazine Challenge #4

Today's card is from the Victoria Calvin's video showing layering border dies onto a card for the SCT Magazine #WCMD2022. This was the 4th challenge and was about using what we have and make 3 borders and layer them together and then a sentiment and something in the lower left corner. I turned it upside down to follow hers.

For my Card I used TLC Design Land and Sea and Aztec Sunshine Circle die sets. I used cardstock from my stash and shaded with Ranger Distress Oxide inks: Mowed Lawn, Citron, Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Blueprint sketch.

I then used my Copic sketch markers to color a white die cut border of the mushrooms: BG45, BG53, YG25,YG03,E51,E53 for the mushroom border.

Hot, Hot, Hot House Mouse Card

 I am doing
the "stick it" or "decoupage" challenge again today. As before, I fussy cut each of the layers out and then gluing the images on top of each layer till there is a stack of them. This is the kit I purchased for decoupage from the official HouseMouse.com site. These images are hilarious today with the House Mouse breathing flames!! And the cards are really very professional looking after all is said and done.

I layered them together very precisely and used Beacons 3 in 1 adhesive which is thick and clear. I got a better layering using that glue and it didn't change the composition of the shiny paper like many other adhesives like the Art Glitter glue that I also like to use. The card was made with old DCWV paper and twine. The small flowers are from Recollections and Hobby Lobby, all from my stash in my room. Hope you enjoy the card.

House Mouse Recipe Decoupage card

I decided that "stick it" could also mean "decoupage" which is gluing the images on top of each layer of images till there is a stack of them. Awaze back, I purchased the decoupage kit of many of the House Mouse images on the official HouseMouse.com site. They were on shiny paper and it really was fun to fussy cut all of them out. Though it took me a long time to get each card's images all cut with no white on the edge, it felt fulfilling to see them all done before I layered each with glue and to look more 3D. The images are always funny with the House Mice getting into their antics!! And the cards are really very professional looking after all is said and done.

I layered them together very precisely and used Beacons 3 in 1 adhesive which is thick and clear. I got a better layering using that glue and it didn't change the composition of the shiny paper like many like the Art Glitter glue that I also like to use. The card is with Prima Marketing pattern paper and May Arts lace. The small "thanks" die cut is from Altenew and done with shiny purple that I had in my stash. Hope you enjoy the card.

Creek Bank Creation Tunnel Card with Candy

Creek Bank Creations came out with their Tunnel Card Die and I had to have it! Well, they now have the Tunnel Card Insert that makes a drawer that fits Hershey Nuggets perfectly!! So here is one of my Father's Day cards to my hubby and filled with Hershey's newest nuggets that have Toffee and Almonds! I had to taste test to make sure that were edible and oh yes, I believe that they are after eating around 8 of them!! Yum! The "happy" die comes with the new insert and so does "birthday" which is not used here. Totally a game changer to have even gift cards underneath the chocolate!! Great dies and so enjoyed making this!! Hope you enjoy your weekend and stay cool in this crazy hot summer we are having!!
