October Rochelle Spears Scrapbook Challenge Layout

I used the middle row with Banner, Mixed Alpha Title, and Circle.

Using all the things in my scraproom without buying anything else, I found the Authentique Paper collection Explore and made this fabulous layout of very old pics that were hidden inside a flip album in the corner of my room. So glad that I did because this was a missed Happy Adventure the kids and I went on to see old airplanes doing stunts that took our breath away! 2nd page yet to come!

Memories Sketches in Thyme Layout

                                                                             Sketch in Thyme #490
I love using these fabulous sketches from Sketch in Thyme and decided to use this one to document our anniversary in 2019 that we had while on our wonderful cruise. I used the Authentique Paper collection called Explore, and cut diagonally. Using various Prima Marketing flowers, and other brands in my stash, I arranged them along that line. I double matted the pics with Bo Bunny double dot in Jade and then light tan cardstock. Using chipboard from my stash, I used versamark and then used a gold in my stash again and heat embossed. The other flower chipboard was first painted with white gesso and then inked with Distress Inks of Rustic Wilderness and Evergreen Bough then heat embossed with WOW Clear Ultra thick powder. The butterfly I purchased from Germany so seem like a perfect time to use on this international layout. Love how this came out!

                                                      Sketches In Thyme October #489

Using another Sketch in Thyme sketch, and more of my parrot pics, with all of these old supplies from my scrap stash, I am in love with how it came out!! Making Memories letters were embossed with WOW Ultra High clear embossing powder and heat embossed. The word "pants" was die cut from Altenew Simple Alphabet letters in yellow cardstock. The ribbon at the top was secured to match the sketch. The hibiscus flowers were die cut from a Tessler die. Hope you enjoy my layout and pics of these ultra clever parrots!! They were beautiful and smart too!!

Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash October Friendship Card

One of my best friends had her 70th birthday this month and so I made this beautiful card with her in mind!! I started by pulling together these Reverse Confetti products:

I first started with a Neenah white cardstock and blended Distress Oxides in Kitsch Flamingo, and Carved Pumpkin with Erin Lee Creative's blending brushes. Also, ink blended to the card front on the right and bottom of the panel. Added Creek Bank Creations Adhesive to the back of the Big Flower Cover panel before die cutting, so as to adhere it down in one piece easily. Then stamped with my MISTI and colored the Orange Blossoms with copics, and die cut them as well. With a 12 inch Fiskars trimmer, I diagonally cut the cover die pieces and adhered them to an A-2 card, of 4.25x5 inches. Added all the elements and then a few sequins to give some sparkle! It was easiest to align everything in the corner of my MISTI. It really means I have a two-fer since the cut is perfectly down the center and I could use more of these cute birthday cards for 2 friends who live in Florida (Oranges blossoms are our national flower) who happen to have October birthdays. The numbers 70 was die cut using the same adhesive backing of the cardstock to make it easiest to apply the numbers. I used Bazzill Gold foil and white cardstocks.

Bird Paradise Layout

Challenge Sketch

With the sketch provided, I started assembling the layout and choosing the colors best suited for the dark, indoor photos. Because I didn't have appropriate items in my stash, I ended up die cutting a ton which took longer, especially to see what colors worked best. While I was out to get cardstock at Joann's, I found this parrot patch in their sewing section. Though the colors are right, I liked the pretty accent it brings to the page. Hope you enjoy my layout.
These beautiful birds are from the Theater of the Sea in Islamorada, Fl, in the Florida Keys. They preformed different things from counting, adding and such. I was impressed! Smart AND beautiful!

Papers: Recollections (background paper); Bright Yellow; Orange-Red Bazzill cardstock; Green Vellum;
Flowers: Die cuts: 2 different Hibiscus sets; Ranger Tim Holtz fern dies; Prima Marketing small red and Petaloo ferns.
Circles were die cut from various Spellbinders Dies using a Platinum 6.
Alphas: Die cut from Altenew Simple Alphabet die; Making Memories cardboard letters (inked with Festive Berries Distress Oxide and heat embossed with WOW Thick Clear EP)
Sequin Bird from Joanns sewing section.

Pinkfresh Studio Fall Birthday Card

Here's my card for the October Pinkfresh Studio Challenge.

The coloring is with my Copic Markers of the Pinkfresh Studio Full Bloom Stamp and die cut it out with the matching Pinkfresh Studio Full Bloom die. I paired with their Ornate Oval frame die cut from Silver metallic cardstock.  The slimline card is made from a piece of Neenah Bright White cardstock cut to 9" x 8" and blended Distress Oxide in Peacock Feathers. The title was cut from the Pinkfresh Studio Phase Builder: Happy Die Set which really is so helpful for all of your holiday titles. The shadow is cut from orange vellum to stay with the fall theme.
