Anna Griffin FSU Graduation Card

Anna Griffin Graduation card I put together with the MANY pieces to choose from. I used a circle punch on a logo from a past FSU announcement. It's called recycling!! ;)  Love the personal touch, don't you? The rosette is pre-embossed and very easy to fold and assemble. I highly recommend any of Anna's kits due to the lavishness of the finished projects.
Projects I am entering this in:
Paper Crafter's Corner Magazine Monday Week #142
For JayZ's Champagne lifestyle, and the masculine subject.
For Paper Crafter's Corner Washi Wednesday, here is my submission. Use My Minds Eye gold, and red chevron washi tapes. Both are from two different lines of theirs. The gold from Market Street, and the red from their past Christmas. I used them to personalize this envelope for the graduation card, by trimming the edges of the "S" and "U" to form the curves. Just takes time and patience. ;)

Webster's Pages Layout

With Webster's Pages papers I fussy cut these gorgeous papers to my hearts content. I popped all of them up with Tombow pop dots. Added a Martha Stewart punched border to Bazzill Lipstick red cardstock and collaged my selfie with produce pictures of a fun day at Webster's Flea Market. How apropos. This is my project for the Paper Crafter's Corner Magazine Monday challenge #141 I think I matched up with the theme this week really nicely!! All the clusters of flowers and images together!
 Enjoy!!

Shabby Chic Card Won DCWV April Stackaholic Challenge

Using the April Stack-a-holics sketch for the card, DCWV Treasures Stack, Spellbinders Shapeabilities tag S5-031, Hug Snug Seam binding, Red button and itsy bitty cream button. I cut outthe black outlined tag, die cut the red filigree and gorgeous light blue music pattern paper from this beautiful vintage stack. I then used a tan tag to stamp the Birthday sentiment onto from Inkadinkado with Momento black ink, and embossed with clear powder.  I realized the tan tag was too large and cut it down proportionately. The bow and buttons added just the right touch to finish it off.

Some Odd Girl Home Decor

Using the theme of some challenges as my inspiration, I made this pretty home décor for a friend as a gift. (Shhhh!) I don't want her to know!! ;)  The quote is one of her favorites!!
Supplies are Some Odd Girl clear acrylic stamp, Umbrella Gwen which had come from Simon Says Stamp but no longer is in stock there.  The sky blue is me masking the stamped clouds, and making the background blue with a hand cut "cloud sky" template made by me. The ink is Tsukineko Radiant Neon Electric Blue  (with Ranger sponge dabber) which is so yummy!! The image was stamped using Momento Tuxedo Black, and colored with Copics: E000, 0000, R06, 20, 21, for skin and face. E33, 39, 59, for her hair. Clouds and her Eyes: B000, 39. Dress: Y06,11,17, Her boots, shadow and concrete: 100, C1, 3,5,7,9.  Crystal Laquer for rain drops and eyes. I used copic alcohol or adding dimension to the concrete, and a little to her dress.  The frame was hand painted white, and then Zigzag ribbons added. Background papers are My Minds Eye, and yellow Bazzill cardstocks. The quote was printed on vellum with Lucida handwriting font. I recycled an old wood frame.  I wanted it to look a little rustic and so left it not completely covered with paint so some of the grain shows through..
Challenges I am putting this in are:
Paper Crafter's Corner Magazine Monday # 140: Inspired by the women with umbrellas in the rain, and the beautiful deep colors.
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: April Showers bring May flowers-The "Showers" part.

DCWV Watercolor layout

Loved this fabulous new DCWV stack called Watercolor.  I chose out several of the sheets and followed the April sketch to make this charming layout. Used 3 circle punches: two Fiskars, and one Stampin' Up.  Carefully measuring to have the 7 sections prior. The pic doesn't show how the gold foil shines, and looks kinda black. Beautiful stack of papers!

Spring Paper Smooches Card

Using Paper Smooches A Little Lovin' stamp set and cutting apart the sentiments and combining them in a different order, I made this funny card for my beloved hubby! The Bunny is stamped with black ink, and colored with copic C01, and C03. Crystal Lacquer was added for the eyes. I used Tim Holtz Heart stencil, with Faber-Castell Texture Lux mixed with pink ink,
after masking a heart image over the stencil. See the picture for more details.  I used more of the texture paste with the stencil down both sides. I then added the pink, blue, green  as well as the yellow colors for a variation of Spring colors, like an Easter egg instead of going with the obvious pinks only.  I then added DCWV Watercolor Stack papers and Double Click skittles for balance on the card. Then for a piece of fun, the bunny is on an Action Wobble!
