Guest Designer for Word Art Wednesday-Valentine's Card

January is my month as a guest designer for Word Art Wednesday challenge blog for their #685-686 challenge, and this week's verse is:

My card is made with Graphic 45 Time to Flourish February papers, Ranger Lumberjack Distress Oxide was ink blended around the edges, and layered on the 5x7 card base. I loved this little piece of lace in my stash that I felt really soften the whole card. I printed the verse on a white cardstock, and added it to an dry embossed (Altenew Luxurious Motifs 3D folder) which had white ink added to it as well. Ribbon added to make it a bookmark as a gift. 3 acrylic hearts added to embellish.

Newton's Nook Birthday Balloon Card-Guest Designer for Word Art Wednesday

For today's post, I am honored to be a Guest Designer for Word Art Wednesday Challenge Blog, which has been sponsored by Scrap 'N Stamp AND Newton's Nook Design's this week, and will both have gift certificates. 

For my card I featured, Newton's Birthday Balloons stamp used with today's verse and these Copic markers: E13,E15,E17,E18,E50,R20,R22,R27,R29,R32,BG11,BG32,BG34,BG45. I also used a cloud stencil with Ranger Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina ink with a blending brush for the background.

Guest Designing for Word Art Wednesday-Waffle Flowers

 January starts with my guest design spot for Word Art Wednesday and I am honored to play with their wonderful word art again for 2025. For this card, I used a new die from Waffle Flower called Snowflake Cluster to showcase them as our sponsor this week. The die itself cut beautifully and I used the arrangement of the snowflakes as a perfect backdrop for the verse. I did cut one of the snowflakes away from the cluster to use later. The bg was made with Distress Oxide inks and splattered with Silver Tattered Angels spray to add dimension and shimmer. I took the printed sentiment verse and die cut it into a circle then used Versa Mark added around the edges of it and used Ranger Silver Embossing Powder to add even more shimmer around the edge.  It's been an honor to be Word Art Wednesday Blog Guest Designer for December and January 2024 and this is my last post for this year! Thank you Karen and the other talented designers for having me! Details for the card: Using the Altenew Japanese Camellia Layering Die Set, Altenew Luxurious Motifs, and the lace die, with my Spellbinders Platinum 6, I die cut all of these layers out. On the embossed pink cardstock I rubbed white ink on top to add depth. I used pink Altenew inks for shading.

I used Altenew Winter Ice Skate Die Set and this video for the skates and used the Enchanted Garden Crisp Purple inks to shade the purple cardstocks that I used along with silver glitter paper. The rectangle die is from Spellbinders. The background is the Altenew Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die.

January Guest Designing for Word Art Wednesday

 I am Guest Designing with Word Art Wednesday for January 2024! I love it and there is no way I am not starting the New Year without thanking Karen Letchworth for having me and hosting this fabulous blog that has such wonderful inspiration and if you are the lucky one, even a prize! 

This first Wednesday of 2024's verse:

For this card, I used the Altenew Enchanted Mirror die and cut it with my Spellbinders Platinum 6 with the mirror gold cardstock. It cut like a dream! And the Altenew Rose Flurries die set were cut using 4 shades of "flamingo" pinks I just love! The leaf was the largest in the set and really added depth to the card. And of course, it isn't finished until I add some bling. The smaller was Hero Arts, and the larger, Queen & Co. I chose to use these products because I am trying to use all of my NEW supplies before pulling out old favorites! Enjoy and wishing everyone, a Happy New Year!
