Handmade Poinsettia Christmas Card

I wanted to try making my own handmade Poinsettia to try something new. I began with a Sizzix die of 3 petal sizes. The red is inked with Tea Stain Distress ink and the light blue petals with Broken China Distress Oxide which I also added as the background of the Neenah white cardstock card base. The leaves are from a deep green pattern paper with Christmas sayings and a weave print. The centers and the holy are cut from Bazzill Gold Foil and the holly is from Altenew Wreath Builder die. The pine needles die is Creek Bank Creations cut from Core-dinations Glitzy Green. They added a bit of sparkle to help the balance. I wanted to add just the sentiment of Merry Christmas (Concord & 9th) but I thought it needed some more texture so I added the blue seambinding triple bow for that. Hope you have a very blessed and Merry Christmas!

Creek Bank Creations Christmas Village Mini Tote

Creek Bank Creations Christmas Village Mini Tote can be a really fun die set to use for giving small gifts. Here I used the Creek Bank Creations Village edge die with Bazzill Gold foil to go around it. I first used their star stencil with Wendy Vecchi Metallic gold embossing paste to make the glitzy sparkle. The close-ups of the stenciling shows how I did that. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas week and enjoying their crafting and family!

House Mouse Christmas Card

Enjoyed coloring with my copics to follow along with the wintery scene in the Double D challenge picture below. I thought that the pic in the upper left corner looked like the little boy was drinking a hot cocoa like the mice in the image below! I always think of sweets I guess!! LOL!! Tis' the season...for sweets, right?

Details include me using my MISTI to stamp the Stampendous Sip Cocoa House Mouse image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with: E33, E35, E00, E11, E000, BG10,BG11,BG23,BG15, 0, C3,C5,C7,C9,W0,W1,W2. I liked the bluish greens that went with the Fancy Pants 6x6 pattern paper. Enjoy!

Creek Bank Creations Christmas Dove Card

I so enjoy making handmade Christmas cards for friends, co-workers, and family! This is so beautiful in the deep red colors with the foil gold and the stunning dove die cut on the front. All of these products are from Creek Bank Creations: Dove Die Cut, Pine Branch die cut (two sizes included), Merry Christmas Circle stamp, and of course the Triangle Gatefold card base die which comes with the hexagon dies for both sizes. I used all Bazzill cardstocks from Joann's and they had them 10/$2 a sheet and 50% off the Gold foil! Was thrilled to find these! Oh and the green sparkle paper was from Core-dinations. I loved the deep green color! I was so fortunate that Creek Bank Creations came to our local Stamping Convention here in Orlando, FL a few months ago!! Love Julie and Tom and their booth was packed!! They do live shows on their FB page for Creek Bank Creations Tuesday nights at 7 pm (but not the week of Thanksgiving) of how to use their products with giveaways!! One was for who the girlfriend of Barney Fife was. I was too slow but I sure have a fun time watching and getting inspired!! They are so fun and seem to be having a blast together!! They also have another FB Group called Creek Bank Creations Creativity for us to share our work with their products. Tons of inspiration there too!

Hope everyone is safe and having a wonderful Thanksgiving week! Creek Bank Creations is off this week but you can catch up with their past videos on Youtube.

Creek Bank Creations Thinking of You cards

Here is a stationary set I made with scraps of beautiful Bo Bunny papers from their 2013 line I have just now used to make a double page layout that I will share soon. These cards are literally just scraps, and I managed to make enough to send to my friends that I love so dearly that are needing an uplift!! The "Thinking of You " double die is from Creek Bank Creations and really is such a gorgeous font! The background is perfect to help line up the letters perfectly and it went together so easily! Thanks Julie from Creek Bank Creations for making such fun and useful dies and tools for our crafting!!
