Kennedy Grace Creations Vintage Tea card for Mother's Day

I am delighted to be a designer for Kennedy Grace Creations and am here today for a card I made with the Vintage Tea Cup stamp set. I just love using this set! It is so fun to decide what colors I am going to make the china!! This was to match with the papers from Graphic 45 that include tea images so went with the blues and pinks. Can you image if you could just find sky blue china to have coffee or tea in?! That would be wonderful!!
I have only one mother left, my mother-in-law. She loves to have her coffee and tea, so that is what I thought about when I made this card for her. My husband loved how it turned out, as well. Hope it delights you as much as it did us.
Directions: Layering the card front with Medium Blue vellum, and the Graphic 45 Botanical tea pattern papers so that the blue peaked out on either side. Stamped and die cut all images and then fussy cut them all out. I always use my MISTI now and do multiple images to have ahead!! ;)  Then I matched my Copic marker colors with that of the Botanical Tea's. Using the dual colors of each, I shaded to have it look like the light was from above. I die cut the doily out of sparkle vellum and glued it and the tea pot down to the top papers. I added pop squares behind the tea cup, and placed it adjacent to the pot. Added the other die cut and bow to add balance to the bottom.
Supplies: Kennedy Grace Creations Vintage Tea Cup stamp set; X-cut Vintage heart doily; Copic Markers: B95, B21, RV21, RV02. Sparkle vellum; Medium Blue vellum; Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Sweet Chamomile; Die cut "Mom" from my stash;  Memento Tuxedo black ink pad; Neenah Bright White cardstock; MISTI; Fiskars scissors.

Happiness is Fishing Together

This layout was a sketch that I made as a challenge. Trying to find the sketch to add as well.
The Die is a Kaisercraft Net, from the Recollections gold cardstock, and then turned over for the dark craft color which matched perfectly. The fish stamp is from Stampin Up Angel fish which I cut up and inked to look more like a fresh water fish.  Twine was added. The "happiness" is a wooden word from Recollections. The cream ribbon is Snug hug, and the turquious is May Arts 1/4" grograin. The papers are from Ella & Viv Paper Company which is designed by Reminisce Inc.  All adeges are inked with Prima Teak brown ink. Dots along the edges are Ranger Distress stickles copper.

Kennedy Grace Creations Baby Be Mine Congratulations Card

I'm in love with these adorable images from the new release from Kennedy Grace Creations called Baby Be Mine! This is the baby hippo and I think she's adorable!!!

     Sequins: Winter Mint

I made this card using the DoCrafts X-cut Vintage Doily in Neenah Bright white, with two circles from Spellbinders large circles die (2 3/8") and Marvy Circle punch (2 1/2") with different purple papers including (OLD) Making Memories Purple solid, and gingham stripe. Stamped with Memento London Fog and then colored with Copics. Copics used were: C1, V12, V15, BV00, BV0000, YR21, Y32, YG11, YG13, R00, B000, B0000. Ribbon was from May Arts Irridescent fushia. I am loving the three looped bow! The sequins were added last and am loving those little flower pieces and seed beads mixed in, to place across the card!! I wanted to make this card gender neutral and so I added a small border of stripes and "Congratulations" for that goal! Hope you enjoyed my card as much as I did making it!!
