DCWV April Challenge Layout

I was so thrilled with how this turned out! Loved the papers and cut out pieces! The flowers are from Prima, the green wood piece from Kaisercraft painted green with Splash of Color green acrylic. The black tulle, blue hem tape, an heart tag are from my stash. I fussy cut the lower right of the background paper was cut out and popped glued and used to tuck in the tulle and ribbon behind. Loved the affect!
DCWV Stack was Vintage Lane and the lower right stamp pieces, and banner flag were all cut from the stack as well as the dark 12x12 border, and "Italy" sheet. Hope you enjoy it.
S-Scenic Picture, Stamps, Sketch, Saint Mark's Cathedral
T-Tulle, Trim, Three flowers.
A-April challenge
M-Map paper, Metal charm
P-Patterned Paper, Prima flowers Pink framed pic and flower.
The picture is from the top of the clock tower in Venice, Italy and we had taken the tour of it. Since it has been closed for renovation for a decade it was wonderful to finally have the chance to see it. The building in the background is of the St.Marks Cathedral. Gorgeous city and wonderful history!

Basic Grey Layout

I made this layout of old pictures I have wanted to get done, and because I LOVED this inspiration board, and especially the saying "This is so the Happy place" but I chose "One fine day, together".  It was really "One fine day" and chose to use this title. Chose things I had from my stash like the Basic Grey  ric rack, gold doily, button, fushia trim flowers, tissue paper, cardstock scraps, and cut the gold leaves under the flowers with a Martha Stewart fern punch. The "One fine day" from Robin's Nest, and Together is a Making Memories metal word, spray painted gold. So the gold and fushia colors are also from the inspiration board..

Authentique Hexagon box

Using Authentique Papers Radiant Collection I cut a hexagon shaped box from the Cricut Design Space Rose Box and topper with my Cricut Explore.  I played all week trying to change things around till I came up with the finished project you see. The Cherish is a Making Memories aluminum word that I painted blue and dry brushed with a darker shade to match the color of the flowers of the papers. The gold butterfly is a German made piece I had in my stash. Love the thickness and usability of Authentique's fabulous papers. In the photo above you can see the cut that I made for the lid.  Used the double sided yellow and pink paper for the roses.
Challenges:
Papercrafters corner Magazine Mondays-Well, inspired by the colored circles I started to scatter the roses across the lid as seen in the top pic but decided against it.
RCS #98: Overboard  Masculine element is the metal word. Feminine, the roses.
Simon Monday Challenge: In the middle. The centerpiece in the middle of the lid.

Scraptique "Magic of Family"

Scraptique Boys Rule kit featuring a sketch, and Gin-X papers and Fabrix was a faster way to make 3 layouts for my children's albums and play a little catch up!! No matter how much I do there isn't enough time to scrap ALL my photos especially since I LOVE to take them!! I added some Heidi Swapp chipboard letters, Making Memories Metal letters for the word "of", and reconfigured the sketch slightly, and then laid my photos across both pages and cut down the centerline. Love the products that are offered in kits that we can't get in stores!!!

Now for the Scrap our Stash challenge, I have had these kits, and these pictures since 2009!!! Pretty bad, right? Nope, I've done worse. Here's my acostic for STAMP
