Word Art Wednesday Guest Designer Spot With Pretty Pink Posh Christmas Card

I'm being honored again to be the guest designer on Word Art Wednesday Challenge and would love for you to come over and join in! It's the #418-419 Anything Goes Challenge!!

I used Pretty Pink Posh Penguin Pals colored with my Copic Markers. I die cut the Pretty Pink Posh Jolly die and cut out the center to put the verse for this week. Added the silver bow. The background was blended with Ranger Distress Oxide Blueprint and Peacock Feathers to look like an arctic winter. To add a 3D affect of snow I used Stampendous Thick embossing powder in white with gold. Hope you enjoy the card because I loved the experience of playing along with Word Art Wednesday's challenge this week and hope you are having a Merry Christmas and will join us if you have a chance to craft during the holidays!

Word Art Wednesday Guest Designer Spot with House Mouse

Today I have the honor of being a guest designer for Word Art Wednesday Challenge Blog.
For today's post, I am using part of the scripture that I have retyped into my Word program and made to fit the die cut frame. I wanted to depict the Gift that God lavished on us with Jesus Christ, His one and only son.  So I used the House Mouse image of the Three "Wise" Mice bringing their gifts!!

Cardmaking directions:  First I stamped the image onto Neenah #110 white cardstock which is my "go-to" paper to color with my Copic Markers. I use Memento Tuxedo Black ink with my MISTI original. I colored them with various markers and playing along with #thedailymarker30day was fun too. I chose the Spellbinders Chantilly Paper Lace Annabelle's Trousseau frame for my silver glitter paper on my Platinum 6. Spellbinders All-In-One tool is a must to get all the pieces out easily!! There's a brush at one end and a poker at the other. That comes in handy every time! My colored piece was die cut with this die as well so as to fit underneath and not show. The sentiment was printed and die cut with an Anna Griffin extra in one of die sets. Loved the shape to not take away from the lacy frame.

The paper for the background and frame are sheets of the DCWV Holiday Glitzy Glitter stack and I used just a smidgen of the stripe with the silver edge. The smaller frame was a sheet of Tonic Red mirror paper. Last I added the velvet flower from my stash to add some soft dimension to shiny glitz of the card.

I would love to hear from you and hope you are having a wonderful start of Holiday season!!

Hope you will join in on the Word Art Wednesday Challenge

Julie Nutting doll Tag #5

Is that not the funniest, snarky comment!! "All the support a girl deserves". This is my final and favorite of me playing with these fabulous papers and Julie Nutting dolls! Hope you have enjoyed all of them, and I will be giving these all away in the next weeks.

Challenges:
Word Art Wednesday #410-411

Julie Nutting Doll Tag #4

The sentiments are all fussy cut from papers I received from a social media friend, Kathy Clement! The doll is Mindy and I always like to add an extra layer to her dress to make it 3 tiers!!

Julie Nutting doll 3

Again, using the paper from Kathy Clement, my sweet social media friend, I was inspired by the papers that were all different, to use them by making them into dresses for the Julie Nutting dolls I own. This one is Audrey! I have several friends facing surgery and was thinking that it would cheer them up with a fancy dressed doll on their cards and tags. The sentiment die was made using Cross Creek Creations "Thinking Of You" die set and I used a copic maker to match the stripe on her dress, belt, shoes and the sentiment. Easy Peasey!! Same supplies as were the last ones.

Julie Nutting doll tag 2

Can you see I had fun with these stamps??? I loved fussy cutting all of the pieces out of these other papers. I chose the tags by the weight of the papers and then the thinner papers became their "clothes". I dressed each to match the backgrounds and added embellishments as well. I was on a trip so what I had is all I had. The seam binding and the ribbons are all vintage that I've had so needed to use. There is a ton and I wish I had more flowers to go with these but it will easily be a good one to mail and not have to pay extra!! Yeah for that!!
Again the supplies were the same except that I used Julie Nutting Mindy Doll and Prima bling and flower.

DCWV October 2019 Sketch Layout

I fussy cut out a wreath from one of the elements in the stack and cut the pic to fit the wreath.

Using DCWV Autumn Chill paper stack I matched the layout sketch for the Facebook DCWV October layout sketch contest. If you are on FB please go over and vote for mine. Thank you if you do and hope you enjoy the inspiration.
Taking time to make extra layers really made the pictures on the left page POP! I die cut the lower left round photo with a Lawn Fawn Circle stitched die. The mini rosettes are die cut from the older Tim Holtz Alterations die. All of these papers are from the stack and that was fun picking through the gorgeous selections.

Pinkfresh Studio Toy Shop Holiday card

Using the Pinkfresh Studio Merry & Bright Toy Shop stamp and die set, I made this card for the World Cardmaking Day 2019. I used my copic coloring for the images and made it twice. I used Stampendous White embossing powder for the outside greeting.  I also ink blended to make the "shop" look vintage. Adding small crystal bling and colored with the copics to match the lights.

More Newton's Nook Falling into Autumn Cards

I know this sound rather morbid, but when I am facing hurricanes I sit and stamp and fussy cut while listening to the Weather Chanel. So my Newton's Nook stamp set Falling into Autumn stamps were already on my MISTI, and my Distress Oxides on my table, so I went into my "hurricane mode". Playing with how to blend the Oxides to make different fall colors was fun! I printed off the Words of Art Scripture verse for the August 28th challenge, and used the same CAS design I'd already used. Here they are:

Here's some fun Hurricane humor. Now you need to know that I am a Floridian and have gone through many hurricanes. Many of my family and myself have lost material goods from them but by the grace of God, have never been physically harmed nor died. After Hurricane Dorian came through, I realize that this is not as funny due to the huge mass of destruction to the Bahamas! We are sending our support to them in this aftermath and encourage you to as well. These funny GIFs and scripture are what I thought my friends here in Central Florida needed to focus on while awaiting the hurricane instead of fear and worry. That is the only reason why I posted them. To my followers as humor and not thoughtlessly to anyone that has been harmed from them. God bless and let us pray for the Bahamas' recovery and their government to restructure in Dorian's wake of disaster. :

We are all in prayer for all going through this horrible hurricane's wrath! Be safe so evacuate when officials say so. We have a long week ahead!
