Create Good Things Layout

Using American Crafts "Hazelwood One Canoe Two" pattern papers, Thickers Chipboard words, and Ephemera for the set, I created this with Rochelle Spears' sketch and challenge. I pleated ribbon and added it to the banner. This is a photo of me with cards from the National Scrapbook Day for Scrapbook & Cards Magazine challenges and won for one of my cards. Here is my selfie pic with me with my cards for all 5 challenges was also on their page and is on the second row from the top, and can be seen below.

Bo Bunny and Picket Fence mixed media Layout

Directions: I used Bo Bunny Rose Cafe' collection and added cardstock for matting the photos. Tore the paper so as to show the tile and have the cobalt blue lace come from behind it. Inked all edges with Distress Walnut ink and blender. Added the lace with red tape and taped to back of page. I stenciled loosely with the paint and chose carefully where to place it. I used the Picket Fence Tile Montage 6x6 Stencil with cobalt blue paint. Later I sprayed it with tacky spray to make a better clean look but this was the affect that I had wanted for this particular layout to make it more vintage feel like Grecian tiles. The lace was perfect as I drapped across and tacked it with tape on the back. I had torn the tile paper so as to make it look like it emerged from the wall like a "drape". Hope you enjoy it because I love making it!!

2nd Hooray 18th Birthday Layout with Basic Grey papers

Just finished these layouts for International Scrapbook Day 2023. Since I am so far behind, I thought I would scrap some milestone birthdays for each of you. Hope it brings back tons of great memories for my family!! Enjoy!

Directions: Using different patterned papers from Basic Grey Hey Girl, I trimmed them to 8" x 1" strips. With my Cricut machine, I created a layout with directions and cuts and saved under my name Beverly Jordan, so that anyone else can use it. I cut out the "18" and immediately put it through one of my Xyron adhesive machines. One 8 1/2 x 11 which is very old but worked for the large numbers and then the candle flames in orange and yellow through the "X" machine. Now I won't loose any pieces. The hooray wood word is from my stash and the chipboard cake from Basic Grey RSVP, and I added bling to it. Assembly went slow due to talking at the crop I went to called, "Crop, Paper, Sisters" here in Central Florida, which was started in January of this year. We are taking funds up for the church we had the crop at and it was fun to see an old friend who drove down from Georgia to attend for this special day. So much catching up and eating that I didn't get but 3 double pages and cards made. Hope everyone had fun wherever you ended up scrapbooking!
