Quick and Classy layouts!

These layouts are some of the ones I did in my recent album for my daughter's graduation. Am happy with how they came out though I would have normally put a ton more embellishments and layers.  There were more but am just showing these.  Hope you enjoy it!  Patterned Papers are from My Mind's Eye Lost & Found, and Echo Park.

Yummy Diet Dessert Torte

One of my favorite recipes is this yummy diet desert torte! And it is so cool for our hot hot summer here in Orlando.  Here's the recipe if you would like to try it:
Ingredients:
10 oz Angel Food Cake either by cooking it homemade or from your grocery store bakery.
Cut into 1" cubes.
1 Pint Blueberries
2 Pints or 1 Quart of Strawberries
For Cream filling:
12 oz Fat Free Cool Whip (I make mine homemade to save calories)
Borden Eagle Brand Condensed Milk (Fat Free)
1 package sugar-freeWhite Chocolate Pudding Instant Mix (Sugar Free)
Water ~~1 cup
Directions:
Get a 2 cup measuring cup and add 3/4 cup water approximately, then pour condensed milk into the water.  After all the Condensed Milk has been added, then fill to top of 2 cups with more water.
Mix or Whisk the condensed milk and water in a bowl.  Mix in pudding mix for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. When finished, fold in cool whip, gently, and put into refrigerator until ready to use.
Wash berries, remove stems, and use egg slicer to cut Strawberries into sections. Set aside.

Assembly:
Put half of in the bottom of a 14 cup Truffle dish and then add 1 cup blueberries. Top with half of  pudding mixture, spreading it gently over lower levels.
Next add second layer of cake cubes, and then strawberries, and pudding mix after, continuing to the top, where you can arrange the cut strawberries fanning out from the middle with blueberries as the center.  The Torte should be refrigerated until ready to eat.
Enjoy!

Elegant Stationary set

This is a set of cards that I really needed to put together, and have already used 2 of them, so they are not pictured here. The Pattern Paper is by Kaisercraft  Secret Admirer line, and I used First Love.  I used Splash of Color, aka Creative Imaginations, Viva Pens in Champaign German Glitter, and Black Pearl Pen, as well.  Love these and they are a must have! Other supplies are from my stash. Love how quick and easy these came together! Enjoy!

Echo Park "Note to Self" Layouts

I was inspired when I saw a designed layout with these papers and decided to do an entire album for my son for his trip to Eastern Europe. The group shared all their photos online, and I found that though he had taken many pics, there were better candid photos of him, taken by others in the party!!! This mom loves that!!! ;)
So here are some of the pages I have done. He will have to fill in the journaling later! LOL!
Enjoy!!
Products used: Echo Park Note To Self Collection, Bazzill French Vanilla cardstock most pages. Alphabets from my stash, Chestnut roan Clearsnap ink, Scotch 3M ATG Runner, and foam tape.

All "Dolled" Up

Used Doll Stamps by Julie Nutting
Here are the two tags I made using the new doll stamps by Julie Nutting.  Each tag has a special sentiment: "Dream and Hope" from the Leeza Gibbons sentiment stamps too. The Prima's blog site has more ideas and fun stuff using these same stamps! I used scraps of pattern papers from Leeza Gibbons new lines because I was not able to get any as of yet! All the products are from Prima though!  Enjoy!

Meeting some Crafting Celebrities

Leeza Gibbons' Wishful Thinking Paper line by Prima Marketing
                                                                    Mark Montano
                                                                      Stacy Caron

While at the National Craft and Hobby Show, I had the priviledge of talking to Leeza Gibbons, about her new book, Take 2.  Her adorable husband was also there and even took this photo! They are so in love and were so cute together. Don't you just love when that happens!!
Next, I got to see my friend, Mark Montano, who is always inspiring us all!! He made sure to give me his newest book, and sign it for me! He is so full of energy and inspiration!
Since this was on my first day of the show, I made sure to see the ever wonderful, Stacy Caron, who is so sweet, and genuine! Love that she gave me her book, and 2 of her exclusive dies, including that adorable crown one. Hoping her team, and Clear Scraps, who I was there with, will join together to use the acrylic to come up with some fun stuff! I know it will be a great matchup!
Hope you check out their blogs, and see all the fun stuff I got to see at the show.
Bye for now,
Beverly
