Concord & 9th Company Happy 4th Card

I created this card for a challenge for a card I had already wanted to make so it sounded like a Win Win. Here's the site:  Marker Pop Challenge on Facebook
Using Concord & 9th Happy Day stamp set, I Copic colored the cake as if it were a Red Velvet cake with blue bonnet flowers, and small white flowers. I played the game with the inspiration photo and made the banners with fabric ribbon that has sticky on the back. I took the red cord and crisscrossed it across.
The papers are Authentique Papers Honor collection. The red sparkly paper is Doodlebug papers.

On the coloring, I not only used Copics, I added white acrylic paint to add dots to the flower centers, plate and the small flowers at the top. Also, Smooch in White paint was used for all the icing to show a distinct difference.  The "cake" was colored with R24, R27, R29 and then used alcohol smooched with a terry cloth. The flowers were colored with Copic Sketch in B28, B26,B24, B21 markers.
The red dots beside the sentiment are Nuvo Crystal Red Berry drops.
