Creek Bank Creations Christmas Village Card

Using Wendy Vecchi's Gold embossing paste on another project.

I loved using Creek Bank Creations Edges Village Die set to make this fabulous card using my favorite tools (plural): my Platinum 6 die cutting machine, and stencils! The cardstocks were the tricky part to figure out which one for each image and I had leftovers with all of them. The end result was Bazzill Tungsten for the train; Stampin Up silver for the middle village part; and World Wind Gold foil for the tree village die part; the background cardstock was Bazzill Admiral but any navy or dark blue would suffice. With each die piece I chose how much space was going to be below the die and then, assembled accordingly. The design of this card was all because of a sample of a card from Creek Bank Creations booth that I visited at Stampfest Summer her in Orlando. She used white ink with CBC Swish Star stencil. I knew Wendy Vecchi's Gold metallic embossing paste would really be stunning too. The Creek Bank Creations stencil was easy to use and am impressed with the thickness of it. Made cleaning up easier since I had to scrub the paste off vigorously! I made two of these because I wanted to use some of  my extra die cuts. I made these while at Scraptique Retreat this weekend, and these cards really impressed the ladies there!
Tip: Use the Spellbinders Tool-in-one tool every time to get the small pieces.

Frilly Fall Thanksgiving Card

Am so thankful for this upcoming Thanksgiving when I will see my three adult children all together. But realistically, God has truly blessed me and am so thankful for His presence and love!

Inside Message: Wishing you a fabulous Thanksgiving!
Using Echo Park The Story of Fall quote, I built this card around it.  I started with Neenah cardstock, and dry embossed it with Tim Holtz 3D Alteration folder. I blended the top with Distress Oxide Gathered Twigs and Distress Ink Walnut Stain. I then added torn "book" paper with more walnut ink applied and glued to the background as well.
Other supplies included medium brown seam binding, Spellbinders stitched ovals and floral oval dies, bleached burlap, Fiskars 12 inch trimmer, scissors, Platinum 6 die cutting machine, Tool N One, brown cardstock and flowers and bling by Prima Marketing.

House Mouse Tails Entwined Card with Charm

Today I want to show you my card using the Stampendous Tails Entwined stamp. Isn't it just so sweet and romantic!

Here are the tools I used:
Stampendous Tails Entwined Stamp
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Stamp Shammy to clean ink off
MISTI stamp positioning tool
Fiskars Razor Edge Easy Action Scissors
Masking paper
Tombow Liquid and dry adhesive
Ranger Distress Oxide Blueprint
Ranger Distress Oxide Lemonade
Ranger Blending tool and sponges
Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine
Paper Piazzaz Light Blue Suede paper
American Crafts Gold Glitter Cardstock
Heart charm from my stash and thread
Spellbinders Chantilly Lace Annabelle's Trousseau frame die
Copic Sketch Markers: E15, E18, E21, E33, YR24, E37, YG93, YG95, YG97, B95, B97, B99.
Petaloo Bonanica Velvet Hydrangea
Ribbon from Ribbon Resource
Instructions: Using my MISTI tool, which really helps keep the alignment perfect, I positioned the stamp in one corner centered with an A4 piece of Neenah Bright White cardstock and stamp with the Memento Black ink. This ink is used when you are coloring with Copic markers as not to contaminate the markers. After I removed the Neenah cardstock, I then replaced it with an A4 sized piece of masking paper and stamped the image again . By keeping the image you have the alignment for a final stamping if the image gets smudged while using the distress oxides to add the black lines back. By the way, you can also use copy paper with re-positional glue, if you don't have any masking paper. Next, I fussy cut out the little mice and all the details, even the space between their bodies I also left the "sky" above the mice's heads where the moon is, and so that I could go back and replace it and leave the "hole" where the moon is and cover the space around it.
I like using my Fiskars Razor edge easy action scissors to cut next to fine lines. I cut everything out, including the moon, and positioned them in the right places on the Neenah Cardstock.
Now, I began blending with the Distress oxide in Blueprint, covering the "moon". When that was finished, I put the "sky" above the heads and uncovered the "moon" and used Distress Oxide in Lemonade. Removing the masking paper, I continued to blend out LIGHTLY around it into the blue "sky" so that it appears to have a halo affect.
Coloring the images using Copic markers is so relaxing and I chose the deep dark blues. Later I matched that blue with "felt/suede" paper I had from years ago.
Next, I die cut the A4 colored piece with the Chantilly lace frame, centering it as I saw fit. I die cut another glitter "gold" piece of cardstock with the same die and layered them together using the liquid adhesive.
Glued all the layers together onto an A4 premade card.
Added the blossoms with Tombow dry adhesive.

Stampendous Flossing is a Must! Card

I am in love with this sweet image that someone in the past has given me. I don't have the stamp but could use my Copic Sketch markers with the image due to the heavy cardstock it was stamped on. Here's what I used to make the card:
Stampendous Flossy Easter image
Cardstock by Bazill Basics Paper
My Minds Eye 6x6 papers
Spellbinders Platinum 6 die cut machine
Spellbinders Tallulah die
Spellbinders Tool 'n One
Jillian Vance Pierced Rectangles
Copic Sketch Markers: Y11, Y13, Y15, B0000, B000, B02, YG11, YG13, R00 R20, RV21, E18, E21, E33, E37, E53, YR24.
3-D Foam Mounting Squares by Scrapbook Adhesives
Tombow Mono Liquid Glue
Darice Rhinestones on the frame

To recreate this card:
Stamp the image onto a #110 lb piece of Neenah Bright White cardstock
Use Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Misti stamping tool makes it easier to get a crisp image
Begin to color the image using the Copic markers.
Die cut the image with the Pierced Rectangles
Die cut a fancy frame like this Spellbinders Tallulah die, and use the Spellbinders Tool 'n One to get all the dots out.
Choose a matching cardstock for the card base, frame and then patterned paper to coordinate with the color combo.
Add to the card as seen using adhesives to glue down and pop up respectively.
Add a seam binding bow, tied with triple loops.

Happy 23rd Birthday Julie Nutting Card

Am way ahead of someone's birthday, but the gift has already been given and am going to send this on to her anyway!!! LOVE lavishing gifts and especially since she is making kind of expensive purchases. Well anyway, am so excited that this is @KathyRac's month of #thedailymarker30day challenge and I am posting every day on my Instagram account. Go here under @jordanbev5 and please follow me. If you aren't on yet...I highly recommend that you get an IG account of your own due to the flood of inspiration at your fingertips and so much faster to post and read and even watch short videos!! But please make sure to tell me YOUR account so I can follow you and see your pictures too!
The background paper is in black and white with words for Birthday cheer, like Hip Hip Hooray and Happy Birthday from Echo Park's Party Time in a 6x6 pad. The bottom sheet of multicolored candles is also from the same. The beautiful frilly frame is designed by Becca Feeken from Amazing Paper Grace's Chantilly Paper Lace Collection called Tallulah Frill from Spellbinders. Isn't it so pretty!!! I die cut it out of Lemon Yellow Bazzill Cardstock with my Platinum 6 machine. I hand cut the papers to size and then began arranging all the pieces. To help the numbers stand out, I die cut an oval from Spellbinders Pierced Ovals in the smallest size and then added the "23" from Thickers red foil set.
The little girl is from Prima Marketing Inc, Julie Nutting stamp set appropriately called, Party Girl! I colored her with Sketch Copic Markers: R00, R20, R22, E000, E21, YR24, YR31, Y17, Y21. I fussy cut her out and added dimensional glue to the back to pop her up. The oval was also popped up as well. I still needed something more and grabbed some May Arts silk ribbon in lemon yellow. LOVE ribbons and have this in two shades of yellow!!! I really love seam binding and silk to add a soft billowy bow to a card don't you?
A sentiment was added inside to finish it off and viola', a beautiful girly card to send out! I must say, I think I send her all Julie Nutting dolls for her birthdays because it seems so appropriate! The frillier the better too!!

House Mouse Eat Your Cake and Nap too, Card

Using a Stampendous House Mouse favorite, Eat your Cake and Nap too, I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored it with my Copic markers.  Copics used for this piece are: E00, E21, E33, E53, YR24, Y11, Y19, BG10, BG11, BG13.R20, R22, R24, C1, C3. I matched up the Graphic 45 Cafe Parisian Confectionery papers. I wanted a "lacy" look so chose Spellbinders Chantilly Paper Lace dies: Tallulah Frill Frame, and Anabelle's Trousseau Corner. These look well together I thought. The piece that the House Mouse is stamped on is Neenah 80 lb. cardstock and die cut with Spellbinders Pierced Ovals and mounted with foam tape. The two cardstocks used are Die Cuts with a view Robin #3 which the card is made from, and Bassill light yellow in linen for the die cut pieces. I used my Platinum 6 to that.
I am playing along with Kathy Racoosin's 10th "the Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge, and this is Day 1 for me even though this is the second day.

Quick card from scraps

Back at Mother's Day, I was in a rush to get my girlfriend a card and made this fast one from the scraps that lay on my table. I think I loved how quick and feminine it came out and she loved it! Fun to play with what is right in front of you and just be creative! Hope you enjoy the inspiration!
Supplies: Kaisercraft rose sticker, SEI line paper; Cricut Swiss dots embossing folder with Platinum 6 die cutting machine to emboss and die cut; Happy Mother's Day die (?); Heart Flourish die from Cheery Lynn; and Tombow liquid adhesive to adhere everything.
