Kaiser Craft Sweet Nothing Double layout of Passau, Germany

I used Love Letters Paper from the Sweet Nothings collection By Kaiser Craft as well as, All Yours. I had an extra sheet with the angel so chose that to fussy cut it all our and added the angel with pop dots. I used the rest of that Love Letters to cut it down to strips of 2 x 8 inches and after inking all edges with Walnut Distress ink I arranged them as seen to go behind the photos. I then began using matching flowers from my collection from all different companies including Prima Marketing, Blue Fern and Petaloo. I didn't like how thick some were so I removed the stamins and added pearls to some and Nuvo Drops in Pearl to others. Some leaves, and fancy brads were also added. To add a title, I chose Kaiser Craft English Rose rub-ons to the first photo. I did add a "d" to make it Treasured moments. Hope you enjoy it! I just love these papers!
The photos are of us listening to the organ concert at the St. Stephen's Cathedral in Passau, Germany. I took the pics and the oval pic is of city guide outside the church who recommended coming back to hear it. The organist doesn't want himself to be seen during the concert so this is of him when he was practicing earlier in the day. Beautiful music and melody.

Kaisercraft Forget Me Not (Mother's Day) cards

I had already made a wonderful Mother's Day card for my 94 yr old Mother In Law but decided to make another that was more frilly and embellished that she would cherish. The second card was for her twin who she would be spending the day with. They love each other so much and fly back and forth between their 2 houses (Indiana and South Florida) and are in such great health!! Praise God!
So here are the details: I chose a die that is 5x5 and cut twice, for the background paper as well as the eyelet frame. I also cut a cream piece to use to stamp the inside sentiment. Using Kaisercraft Forget Me Not collection, I made these beautiful Mother's Day cards and embellished with seam binding and doilies from my stash for the 2nd one. The seam binding is real vintage and matched perfectly, and the bling is Want2Scrap bracket bling. The sticker had powder applied from EK Success powder tool, to de-stick and then Scrapbook Adhesive pop dots applied to pop it up. The "love" sticker is from the Kaisercraft sticker sheet, and the only other tool was my Platinum 6 die cutting tool and Tool N One from Spellbinders.
Also, I was at a NSD crop and had forgotten my Mother's Day sentiments and was lent an amazing Stampin' Up Mother's Day set by my friend. That's what I love about scrapbooking!! If I have something you need, it is yours and visa versa! And we talk and play all day together. What fun!! Great to have friends like that!
Happy Mother's Day!

Favorite Selfie Story

Happy National Scrapbook Day 2019.
While playing along with sketches and challenges and having fun a crop with friends, I started a getting so many things accomplished. I left there at 5pm and once home could concentrate on the time challenges and got started using a sketch that was apart of one.
I have several photos that are a few years old as well as new and much older ones and I had worked on several already. So when this last challenge started, I really only had this one to do that had enough pics that it called for. In fact, there were another 2 with these but they weren't really that good so were omitted.
The journaling was not completed due to time but it this is of a fantastic time in which I won tickets to go to the Southern Women's show and then met the most fun people, including getting a fabulous new haircut by one of them. The one on the left page is of me with the new haircut. I had a really wonderful time and felt so pampered! To make this I started with a sketch that had to be reversed or turned on its side or backwards. I turned it on its side and used it with a paper pack I had brought to play with for several of my projects. You will see in another one yet to come.
I then used the stitched circle die to cut my pics into three circles intending to use the other one on the other side page. After doing that I chose the papers to cut into banners, and thought of the chicken wire stencil with Wendy Vecchi's metallic gold embossing paste to use as a honeycomb look down the page in the place of where the sketch has small circles. Loved how that came out so reused that idea on the left page later, and again used it in a "scallop" way so as not to use a straight line in any of it. The larger circle on the left page was made using an 8" cake pan traced onto the paper and cut out. The Altenew stamp and die set is a must to get pages accomplished! And so I really made the right pg title first and then matched the left's one to it from the words I had left to choose from the set. I really love how simply it came out. To get the circle into place, I fussy cut the springtime flowers with a kraft knife and then popped them up after placing the circle down. The small strip of paper was place through on of the cut holes and the glued into place. Hope you enjoy this and had fun yourselves on #NSD2019!

Quick card from scraps

Back at Mother's Day, I was in a rush to get my girlfriend a card and made this fast one from the scraps that lay on my table. I think I loved how quick and feminine it came out and she loved it! Fun to play with what is right in front of you and just be creative! Hope you enjoy the inspiration!

Vienna Concert Layout

Again, using the Stuck?! Sketches other sketch, I used it for this double layout of the Concert we attended in Vienna on night. For this layout, I turned the sketch upside down and backwards. It allowed me to use the other sketch as well, somewhat for the right side layout. I turned it on it's side as you can see.

Photo story: We were treated to a Wiener Conzert of Mozart and Strass by the Wiener ResidenzorchesterThe Clarinet Concerto, which is also performed by the conductor, was a highlight of the program. The show leading up to it is delightfully amusing.

Supplies: Kaiser Craft Time Machine Gears and other papers that were still in my stash; Prima Marketing Tales of Me blossoms and other Prima flowers as well; vintage doily; seam binding; lace flowers; Queen and Co. music notes trim; Grey and brown cardstock.  I used my Cricut Explore to die cut the titles and used a combination of Blackletter cartridge and Old English Font with Bazzill Charcoal cardstock.

Kaisercraft Wooden Deer Tag

Here for yet another tag is for Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist  2017 Challenge of Day 3 to use a neutral and natural look.

I love all of Kaisercraft Christmas papers but alas have used all of them that I have bought and now only have the Kaisercraft wooden embellishment of this fabulous deer. I added the Kaisercraft rub-on's of the deer at the bottom as well. To add a feminine touch, I did a triple ribbon out of distressed seam binding in a light sage. The tags themselves were diecut from Kraft cardstock using the Spellbinders Tag, You're it Steel Rule die in my Platinum 6 machine. Sequins were added because they were on my craft table. Don't you love that? Use what is on hand!!
Merry Christmas!
