Sweet Sister Graphic 45 Home Sweet Home Layout

Using the A Cherry On Top weekly Sketch #393, I put this together with Graphic 45 Home Sweet Home collection. The 5 sheets I chose were the first cover sheet called Home Sweet Home; Garden Fresh to fussy cut the flowers out; Apple Pie where I again fussy cut the flower tag; Granny's quilt which is the paper behind the selfie pic. I also used a piece from the Tags and Pockets. I added Walnut ink around all of the edges and red buttons as well.

The Layout is of my sister and I who live 4 hours away from each other and our meet up at Webster Farmer's and Flea market. We do this during the year to shop and eat together and just catch up. We both bought the beautiful orchids which led me to use those in a picture. The vegetables at the market can be seen in the background of our selfie pic. The quote says it all, that it is refreshing to be together. I will journal more when I have a chance. Combined with ACOT's Sketch #393, and Graphic 45 Fall challenge #G45fall. This is what fall looks like in Florida!! Enjoy!

October Afternoon Flea Market Layout

Using this sketch and tons of pics from our 2017 Webster Flea Market trip, I put together this fabulous layout!! I had ordered the photos on a special deal that made them all 4" square so cut all of them down to 3"x4", 2"x2", 3"X3". By the way, Florida Markets have tons of orchids and this one especially. We bought this gorgeous yellow cattleya that has the beautiful fragrance too. The other orchids were also purchases we made. The Market has a huge acre lot in the back for antiques but we pretty much found delicious fruit, vegetables, and this glass cake plate. On the way home we stopped at the Rainbow Diner in Groveland, FL and had the pictured Country Fried Steak and vegetables and fresh homemade donuts! Yum!! Unfortunately, I didn't get any of my hubby and I together at the Market!! Great pictures of fabulous items that memorialized the memories! It was great getting them on a layout!

I used October Afternoon Farm Fresh Hay Barn (strips) and Farmhouse (yellow dot and turquoise floral) paper. The embellishments are from 3 sticker sheets: Echo Park The Story of Christmas alphas (title); Simple Stories Summer Farmhouse combo; Simple Stories Homegrown. I used from my stash: Red Lace, Green and yellow ric rack, Green twine, Green from from My Mind's Eye Kate. Two border punches: Martha Stewart 3 dot, and Stampin' Up scallop. Washi tapes: 2 thin ones: turquoise and one brown stripe; black gingham.

Birthday Hexagon layout

I used a sketch on ACOT, here above with several different papers pieces: Echo Park It's your birthday (girl), sticker sheet and Journaling Cards; Echo Park Birthday Girl Journaling Cards; Pebbles Happy Cake Day Make a Wish. I fussy cut all of the hexagon shapes. Also, popped up the cupcake and kitty cat with foam squares for embellishments and enamel dots. The twist with this sketch was to include some type of bug, bee, butterfly or something small but not a big animal. I used the kitty and the cupcake, which are both small.

Photoplay Belle Fleur Sketch Layout "Love"

Stacy's Scrappy Friends Reveal: Scrap with Stacy Tic Tac Toe-Used a Doily, brads and paper clip. And just to add more, (Brads, Sticker flower, a staple) for the diagonal as well. Love this to encourage me to use fun layering on my layout and use up some of my supplies. Had so much fun with it!!

Here is my layout for the challenges for February 2023 and loved these challenges to get me to be creative after not doing any layouts since December!!! So these are pics of a Cricut Meet up here in Orlando, FL from many years ago and so enjoyed how well it came out using the sketch!!! The papers are Photoplay Belle Fleur "Hello Gorgeous". Real easy to make, I cut the 12x12 into 6x6 and then turned to B side for the lower paper, and cut off 1/4" which I used at the upper left corner on the tag that I stapled ribbon using the Tim Holtz stapler, and added the paperclip. Added a doily under the same side as represented for the cardstock under the 2 focal pieces as in the sketch. The title is made with the Mega Love die from Altenew <here> using Bazzill cardstock in Piglet, one of my all time favorite colored cardstocks!! The frames are from an old company called Fawn and used them for our pictures. Really loved the sketch with actual real wooden frames just like the sketch!! Added the Sticker flower and 3 brads from my OLD Basic Grey stash!!! Ribbon was from my mega stash of ribbons!! I will never use it all up going at this rate!! If I keep everything, do I really think I will use it ALL??? LOL!! Spent hours organizing my stash and it paid off with all of my "finds" this weekend too!! Always buying and not using enough!!

Scrap With Stacy Tic Tac Toe Challenge: Feb. 2022

I used the bottom line with 2 Photos, Gold (bow), Chipboard (star).

Supplies: Imaginisce Cottage Christmas Gingerbread Village and the dark red snowflake, and the ornament pattern paper all with glossy accents. The Santa sticker is from Simple Stories North Pole collection. The Gold metallic ribbon tied into the bow. The different alphas are from red sparkle Making Memoires Christmas collection. The pattern paper also had different alphas.

I have been cleaning my scrapbook room and loving all of the treasures I am finding!! With these pretty and cute borders found on the Gingerbread Village page, I just felt it calling to be used on this layout!! Do you see a theme in the supplies list? All of them are from retired collections as well as closed companies except for Simple Stories.

Celebrate Layout

Scrap our Stash January 2022 Sketch

This layout was made to match the sketch and play along with the Scrap Our Stash January sketch challenge. I chose the Basic Grey RSVP collection in my older stash and started pairing the papers. I chose the gray with dots and traced a bowl out for this larger circle. Using the numbers for the vertical part was appropriate because I wanted to scrapbook that my girlfriends and I always meet up at an Orlando restaurant for ALL of our birthdays. It's a fun place and delicious food, as you can see the bread pudding in the picture. The journal says: "Celebrating another birthday at our favorite restaurant together, it's always Tibby's (New Orlean's Restaurant)". The flags and the cupcake chipboard were all apart of this Basic Grey RSVP kit. French Vanilla Bazzill cardstock was used to mat and for the journal strips. The background is Bazzill yellow.

Cochem Germany Layout

Scrap Our Stash Challenge Jan. 2022

THE CHALLENGE:
Create a layout using the following "recipe":
ONE word title (Germany)
TWO photos
THREE Embellishment clusters (bird on glass, banner, key with button)
FOUR Patterned Papers (Strip, floral, flower fussy cut, dot)
FIVE sequins (2 by title, 3 in corner)
I really took a long time to make this layout and was inspired by the papers in this Kaiser Craft Kit. They came with just a few papers and I immediately grabbed my scissors and started fussy cutting all of that big roses, bird, glass jar and other pieces out. The strips were the back of the black dot paper so that is why I had to add the floral piece to the side of the layout to use the stripes to make the border I used at the top. The bottom right corner is the leftover piece when you use a border punch and so I used it there. It all came together beautifully and you would never know I didn't have enough papers if I had not told you. The crochet lace is from my stash and I had never used it!!! I matched perfectly! Love when that happens! The photos are of a town called Cochem, Germany and the title is a Jolee sticker. Sequins were also added. Enjoy!

Echo Park It's Your Birthday Layout

I put a Jolee's flamingo sticker over where the Echo Park flamingo already was, making it a 3D!!

I used Echo Park It's Your Birthday collection, and Bo Bunny Green dot paper as part of the sketch, Jolee's Flamingo stickers, and pink doilies. I just LOVE how it came out!!! This was my birthday for 2020 and we attended a Stampfest here in Orlando. Hardly any venders came but we had a blast and then ate a little restaurant here called Melao Bakery. I recommend it for their fabulous desserts, and delicious food.
