I am so far behind doing my scrapbook layouts that I decided I would use Stuck?! Sketches to get my mojo back working! Love their inspiration by their talented designers too!! Here is the Sketch for January 2018
Here is the January 1st Challenge Sketch and what I use for the right layout of my double layout.
Supplies Bo Bunny Gabrielle papers; Shimmerz Paints Paste-eez Puttin'on the Glitz; Stencil Clearsnap Blizzard; Creative Embellishments (wood): Window Shutters, Dripping Heart Lace, Lace border #2; Painted with Plaid FolkArt Bight Gold; Red Tape 1/8". Key and Brad are from my stash.
I used my Cricut Explore to die cut the titles and used a combination of Blackletter cartridge and Old English Font with Bazzill Charcoal cardstock.
Photo story: Passau, Germany is a Bavarian city known as the city of 3 rivers but the real secret is that this city has a checkered past of ownership due to it being on the border of Germany, Italy and Austria. As we walked through this small town, there were so many gorgeous ancient doors with carvings, iron, and different metals and woods. Some were all the way from the 12th Century!! I was so amazed and had to take many photos of them. The photo on the left page is the massive old door in the courtyard of the famous St. Stephen's Cathedral and the center photo on the right page is their front door!! The city was so romantic to walk around and take in the ambiance of it's history and beauty.
