Sherri Baldy Steampunk Bestie

This is the fabulous image by Sherri Baldy that I purchased the acrylic stamp of from Sherri herself January 2015!! She is as sweet as her "Besties"!! I loved the pink burlap card base I placed it on, which is by DCWV Inc.  I used a pink chiffon ribbon, and the many flowers from the stamp set, all colored with my copics. Mostly used RV17, RV02, RV19, C1, C3,C5, C7, C9, E000, E00, R20, G15, YG13, E13, E33. This was colored for Kathy Racoosin's The Daily Marker February coloring challenge which I participated in most of the 28 days.  #thedailymarker30day

Card: I will always love you

The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Inspired by a Song had me wanting to use a lyric from an Adele song, "However far away I will always love you" so here is my submission!  I used the adorable pattern papers from Authentique Playful 6x6. Isn't that cloudy sky fun? And then I used Lawn Fawn Love You So Mush for the cute grass and road line. The image is A Random Fan by Sherry T Designs called Summer Escape. Copic colored and popped up with a Action Wobbler. I printed the title as well as, stamped using Strathmore. I hand cut the banners and popped them up with Scotch double-sided foam tape

DCWV Shaker Card

This DCWV February Stack A Holic Challenge card, I used a shaker to jazz it up a bit! Hope you enjoy it!!
Here are the steps:
1. After stamping this Magnolia Rubber Stamp cutie on 80# Strathmore cardstock, I colored with my Copics to play along with #TheDailyMarker30DayChallenge.
2. Using a polaroid die cut, I glued a piece of plastic behind it, and added Scotch foam glue tape around the square opening, and then added more for the bottom of the polaroid.
3. Added loose bling in matching colors with my papers.
4. Adhered the Magnolia cutie to the back, adding Beacons 3 n 1 glue to insure that it held together.
5. Following the DCWV Sketch for February, I put the card together.  The circle was made using a Fiskars Circle punch. Fussy cut the package and popped it up.

Upcycled Treasure Box

Copic colored stamped PSX image with black Momento ink.
Using a cigar box with a curved lid and using Beacons Decoupage fast finish, I glued napkins in multilayers onto it. I had painted it first with Rangers Studio matte finish and then with white paint beforehand. Many steps and time of drying between steps, I had some pearl string to also add to the edge using Beacons 3 in 1 glue to do that.  A tulle bow and 2 Prima flowers for the lid, and Viola, a treasure box.  I also made this gift card using the same steps and copics to color it with. Hope you enjoy it!!

Paper Smooches Pals

For this card I used the Paper Smooches Chubby Chums stamp set. Starting at the bottom of the stack, and using a card I saw on the internet as an example, I stamped the puppy first.  Then I stamped just the top of each critter onto another thin piece of scrap cardstock. After I fussy cut the ears or tops of the heads of each, I used this as masking, as seen in my 3rd pic.  I colored with my various copic colors, and chose a color combo that was more masculine. Bazzill cardstock was my card base with fussy cutting one side. Love these adorable critters and am so in love in the way it turned out. Hope you enjoy it too!!
Challenges:
Paper Crafter's Corner Magazine Week #131-For white space and layered colorful (like the kids' outfits) critters instead of mountains. The fiber to match the branches of the tree.
