One of the funny things I like to do since I am always so far behind in getting caught up with all my photos, is scrapbook the last year's activity before we have it again. Well, that's what I've done here. I actually have made 4 double page layouts and this is the one I'm showing you because all the pics are the same, and the layouts are all this gorgeous Christmas collection from Webster's Pages. The ribbons are also, from it as well, and I just fussy cut a ton out! Added stickles and Crystal glaze in places. Hope you enjoy it!

Cricut Explore Merry Christmas card
I am so lucky that my husband has given me an early Christmas present of a Cricut Explore!!! And after a busy week of cooking, and company at Thanksgiving, I had the chance to peruse their catalog of images in Cricut Design Space, and found that I really liked this Art Deco image of merriment. The papers are Recollections gold, green and red cardstocks and Core'dinations card base red dots embossed/raised. Don't you love the vintage feel of the card? The sentiment was stamped with a VersaMark ink pad then I used red embossing powder.
Here are the challenges that gave me inspiration:

Paper Smooches Wobble card
Here a card I made for fun using the Paper Smooches Puppy from the Chubby Chums set. I just love this little puppy and found that it was easier to practice with my copics if I just stamped a few and colored all them at one time, so that's what I did. It was so relaxing and educational to try different things. The card is from a few sheets of Simple Stories and I love how it came out with this funny guy! Enjoy!

DCWV Fall Card-November Stack-a-holic card
Paper Crafter's Corner Magazine Monday Week #76- Inspired by the blue, orange, red/copper colors in the inspiration photo. Used a square for the square suitcases.
For this card I used DCWV Fall & Halloween combo Matstack with the Fall 6x12 stack for my card base, DCWV Corrugated stack, with the Newton's Nook Designs Falling into Autumn stamp set with American Crafts Brand Zing metallic finish Copper embossing powder. Hemp to tie.
I took the photo at an angle so that you could see the shine of the copper of the papers as well as the leaves. Hope you enjoy it today!

DCWV card
Today, I decided to make a fall card despite the high temperatures outside! Maybe, if I make it, Fall will come! ;)
Well, here is my card made for a few challenges to do with fall and orange, so I used a doily die, as well as, fall leaves from a stationary store (I got so long ago)
which are normally used for confetti but we know how our scrapbooking minds go!!! I colored my Magnolia stamp using mostly oranges, Sitting Tilda, with Copics and all the papers are DCWV, from The Magnolia Way, and the Serenity cardstock stacks which had metallic, glittered and textures using the orange color schemes. The sentiment is just something I found in my stash. Hope you enjoy the card!

My Craft Creations-Anything goes
PaperCrafter's Corner Magazine Monday Challenge Week #72
I was "inspired" by:
1. All the orange shapes and used the leaves for that, as well as the golden orange doily, I made with The Serenity Stack from DCWV.
2. The yellow in the magazine background, I made with the DCWV The Magnolia Way for the yellow patterned background.
3. I also used the top border and turned it to put mine on the side.
4. And last, I used the adorable Tilda for my "face".
Love all the Magazine Mondays from Paper Crafter's Corner blog for inspiring me to go further.

Scrapbooks & Cards Today WCD Challenge Card
This is the sketch for the Scrapbook & Cards Today's World Cardmaking Day celebration 8:00 A.M. with Marla Kress, Challenge for Saturday, Oct. 4th. It was suggested to create this look with a cutting machine so I used my Cricut, Gypsy and cartridge called Cindy Loo which had this adorable doily shaped square as one of its images. My first sentiment was too long and didn't cut out well, so I thought that I would use this fantastic die from Simon Says Stamp HERE. Hope you like it!
Materials: All papers are K&Co and the Hugs die was Simon Says Stamp exclusive. Cricut cutting machine and Gypsy to line things up for size, and Cindy Loo Cartridge for this design.

Webster's Pages Family Traditions Card for SCT WCD 7:00pm sketch
From the Scrapbooks & Cards Today's 7:00pm Sketch, I used Webster's Pages Family Traditions and made this card. I used Thankful for the background and then Funny Stories for the strips, and one of their Mini Craft Bags for the envie. The sentiment was on the bag so I didn't add anything more since I wanted that to be the center of attention and added wire stars wrapped in washi tape to cover the wires. Also, added a designer paperclip at the top. All products were from the same Webster's Pages Family Traditions collection.
I am also posting this for the fall challenge on Paper Crafter's Corner Magazine Monday Week #71.

Paper House Productions New York City Travel layout
I had a fantastic trip to New York City!! I did so much in just a few days, I don't even have enough time to tell you! I was even at NBC's Morning Show. Not great pictures so didn't add those. But while I was up early and standing outside that Saturday in February, an empty parade float came speeding by. That's when I realized it was Chinese New Year's and this was headed to the celebration. It is a fabulous event where everyone celebrates an old tradition and to be able to attend it in the infamous China Town, New York City, was fantastic! I still had to pack my bags to leave early that evening, so ran back to my hotel in Manhattan, I left them with my concierge, and took a taxi straight into China Town area, walked around and had so much fun! That's why I included my picture with the man dressed in the Dragon head. I took a selfie while on the subway coming back. Other things on my travels were to go to the also famous Russian Tea Room and take a picture with the gorgeous Doorman. Can you tell it was freezing outside but he didn't seem to mind at all. Also, went to the Broadway Musical Wicked, and loved it. Also, got to shop at the hugest store in the world, Macy's Herald Square! What fun I had!! Can't wait till my husband can come with me!
Scrapbooking supplies were:
Paper House Productions New York City Map 12" Scrapbook Paper
Paper House Productions New York City Cardstock Sticker
Scrapbook Adhesives 3L Mounting Squares
EK Success Powder to de-stick some of the stickers.
Paper Crafter's Corner Magazine Monday Week #70
I was inspired by the bold headline that ‘frames’ the content and the neutral background. I just couldn't leave so much white space and chose to add little "bits" everywhere. I also added a bank of pics under instead of over the center picture.

Echo Park So Happy Together Layout for Paper Crafter's Corner Challenge Week #69
This layout is of my son's first return home from college after 3 months!! We had such a great time. My journaling was: "There's nothing like all of us together again!" The paper ironically is called Echo Park So Happy together. The layout is from Scrapbook Generation's idea sketch and sample from over a year ago.
I thought of doing it after the Paper Crafter's Corner Challenge with all the houses and pictures. Reminded me of the patterned paper's houses so drug it out, and went blank! So after some help from Pinterest!!!! I was inspired! Love my Pinterest boards, and all the delight of finding something I have saved for another time to do. It worked great and I even have more sketches to do yet!Paper Crafter's Corner Challenge HERE
Hope you try your hand at it too! Love Steph's blog!!
Enjoy!

DCWV Butterfly Garden Card: Won for September Stack-a-holic Challenge
I love how this came out using DCWV The Butterfly Garden Stack of scrumptious designs. I popped up 2 butterflies, and added various pearls. The print was so pretty, I didn't want to cover it up so used a sheer ribbon. Martha Stewart border punch was used on the piece beside it. The sentiment is by Doodlebug designs. Enjoy!
This won for DCWV September Stackaholic Challenge

My Mind's Eye Layout: Paper Crafter's Corner ChallengeWeek #68
I really went all out to make this fabulous layout! These pics are of my daughter's 5th grade project in which she was to choose an "American Hero" she wanted to do a report on. She chose Amelia Earhart. She, and another lady hand sewn an aviator's cap, and matched up odds and ends to make her costume. She really enjoyed that and put on quite a show.
The pattern papers I used are mostly My Mind's Eye Lost & Found, and then the small pieces showing on the top and bottom is Foofala with vintage air planes. I felt it would refer to the composition. Green sparkling tulle, Prima flowers, Tim Holtz bingo pieces and ticket, metal corner on the upper left corner on the left page, and a few pearl swirls and added pieces through out. And yes, I used my Cricut with my Gypsy to make another banner which is attached to a black plastic straw with brads! Ha! So clever, I think!!
Here is the inspiration piece:
Paper Crafter's Corner blog here.
Inspiration: Soft fall colors of burnt red, different geometric shapes and two title banners.
Enjoy!

Paper Crafter's Challenge week 67
PaperCrafter's Corner Challenge Week #67
From Paper Crafter's Corner Challenge, I was inspired by the 52 to think of playing cards and therefore hunted around for a deck I had purchased just for such an occasion. It is slightly larger in size than the typical and seemed like it would fit larger photos so I had bought it months ago. How perfect for this week's magazine cover inspiration!! So, I was moved to make a mini album out of it with a Zutter Bind-It-All. I used cardstock, and rub-ons from my stash and wallet sized pics, I am still adding more journaling, and hope to have it in the mail soon. I plan on giving it to my son. Hope you enjoy it, too!

Prima Marketing Layout for PaperCrafter's Corner and Sketches in Thyme Challenge
The layout on the right is my interpretation of this beautiful Sketch #129, done by Beverly Code, here, from Sketches in Thyme blog. Did you notice my brick stencil I made using Viva Décor Crackle crème through a brick stencil for the background square? I thought it mimicked the brick building of their sorority house, well.
Supplies: Prima Marketing Steel Toe Mary Jane collection from 2007, with Prima flowers and lace. Viva Décor Crackle Paint in Cream with brick stencil used on right page. Tuxedo Black Momento ink. The layout on right is a direct copy of a Pictures in Time small scrapbook store in north Florida. Great place. I distressed all the edges so easily with a Distrezz-It-All before inking.

DCWV August Challenge 2014-Chalkboard Stack
Loved doodling all of the pieces of different chalkboard colored cardstock from this pad!!! It was so relaxing and therapeutic! Love that! Here is my card for the DCWV August 2014 Stack-a-holic card challenge. Used a DecoColor Opaque White Paint marker in extra fine and DCWV Chalkboard Stack, as well. Enjoy! I'll add if they publish it since I emailed my entry, I won't know till they publish the ones they choose.

American Crafts Neopolitan Layout
I started this layout so long ago and finally made it happen this week. First I didn't have the sky vellum paper for the background and so I just put everything away, until I found a lady on FB that happen to be selling the paper and just received her package last week! So happy that I actually was able to find some still at this late date! Love that when that happens!! I special cut the title with my Cricut, and my Gypsy to turn the letters, and inserted them onto the banner. This was new for me to try and even learned to turn each letter so that they flowed like the banner. No, I haven't splurged for a Silhouette because I still seem to find a way to use the Cricut E-2instead. Anyway, because of Paper Crafter's Challenge for using a variety of fonts and words, and a large title separate from the page, this is the one layout I really wanted to make!! Adding letters to the scooter, tags with writing on the front and backs, and the title meets those criteria, I think. Also, made a list of When, What, Where on the orange tag, which PCC also had mentioned.
Here's PaperCrafter's Corner Challenge:
Here is their LINK: Paper Crafter's Corner Challenge #65
Supplies: Cricut Cartridges used: Scooter (Sweethearts), Banner (Wedding), Font (Alphalicious). Paper: American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Silver lining (Vellum sky), Dreamy Days (far right side), Various cardstocks for cutting, Echo Park (Orange dot). Gypsy used to make them the size I wanted and manipulated. Also, Cricut Explore for the scooter because I don't have that one, and done using another friends computer. Don't you love how we all share each other's things!!? Also, tags from my stash, and Scotch tape runner and Scrapbook Adhesive 3L for foam dots to pop up banner. Viva Décor for headlight on scooter.

PaperCrafter's Challenge Week #61
This week has been super busy while I had carpet laid in all the bedrooms and craft room! That meant EVERYTHING had to be moved!!! Crazy! Well, after moving it out, I managed to get it moved back, and made this layout. Was inspired by Paper Crafter's Corner's inspiration of Week #61, here:
It reminded me of nostalgic times, of family fun days. I used the one word title and the colors of green, blue and red as well for my inspiration. So here is my layout of my 2 boys playing a family game together. This was many years ago, and they are now adults living away from home. Good family memories!
Here is the Paper Crafter's Corner Challenge #61 Link
Supplies used are EK Success Monopoly papers from 2003 which are only sold on ebay right now but I still had in my stash, of course!! ;) And stickers were the same.

DCWV Stack The Magnolia Way Card for July's Challenge
Here a wonderful CAS card from DCWV's July Challenge for cards.
I used the Magnolia Way Stack 12x12 because it has smaller prints as well. I fussy cut quite a few things and added them to my card inside and out, and added a piece using a Martha Stewart Border Punch to add some more dimension. A little of some lace from my stash which I think is Prima Marketing if I remember correctly, went on last. Oh, and a rub-on for my sentiment. I hope you enjoy my card! Beverly

Clear Scraps Send-It Birthday Card
Here is an adorable acrylic card for my son's upcoming birthday. I just love how it came out! Supplies used were Clear Scraps Send It Clear Card and DCWV's Birthday Stack in 12x12 and 6x6. I fussy cut a lot of it and added The Twinery twine for the banner affect. The Birthday Wishes is Rubber Café stamped with black ink. The hardest part was hand cutting each of the elements and meticulously matching everything up to lay right. The chocolate icing was made using a Viva Decor' Pearl Pen in brown and adding swirls and layers until it resembled icing. It took a long time to dry, but really made it look so yummy!! #ClearScraps #SendItClearCard #Cupcake #DCWV #SimonSaysStamp #Challenge #PaperCraftersCorner

4th of July 2014 Card
Fabulous holiday here in America is our July 4th, Independence Day! Here is my card for my 2014 Celebration! I used various inks on artist paper, then tore it. Of course it needed the added ribbons. Had bought the stamp a year ago, and finding it was tough. Added the sentiment and the star. Viola! Gathering all the supplies, and getting this uploaded was the hardest part!!
Hope you enjoy it!

Core'dinations and Stampendous Card
I just love this card! This is using my fabulous #Stampendous Stamp set called, Jumbo Lovely Garden Stamp and die set for the butterfly! I used #Core'dinations' Black magic in violet. I embossed with a folder by Darice using my Cuttlebug, and then I used my new nifty Sand It Set, which I LOVE!! Topped it with a Fuchsia satin ribbon by #MayArts. Some Want2Scrap bling and Copics for coloring.
Challenges I am entering:
PaperCrafter's Corner
I was inspired by the pic's black background and swirls throughout from the bird images.
Red Carpet Studio Challenge:
Create a project that includes ribbon in some way.
Well, since I love ribbon that was easy!! So I chose the gorgeous fuchsia satin ribbon by May Arts!
SimonSaysMondayStampChallenge: "I ought to use this more!" And that was easy because I haven't used my Cuttlebug nor my Copics nor any of my ribbons, and I have a ton of them! So I got to feel like I really accomplished something with these 3 challenges in making this one card! Now to try to finish some of my scrapbook layouts I have been working on! :)
I hope you enjoy it!
