Maya Road Album

I recently went to another scrapbookers garage sale, and found this album from a scrapbook class I had wanted to take. I Googled the name of the teacher, and colors of the album to find photos of the class project and then went to work. I especially loved the bird I painted and then doodled on. Remember doodling on pages a few years ago? We aren't really doing that anymore, but this affect really looks cute!! Have to use it again!

Instructions were to take a chipboard shape, in this case I had a bird and its wing. I painted each in two different shades as to add dimension. Then using a white pen, I drew curly ques on it and followed the wing around with just dots. LOVED the affect. I also used Glue Arts newest Fabric Glue, which is a green cartridge, on the canvas pages. What a wonderful product!! I sewed buttons on felt and added ribbon braid on the edges of some of the pages. The album is just stocked full of techniques, and really was fun to make. Hope you enjoy it!
