What's happening in Orlando Area for FREE!!

Renninger's Antique Fair located in Mt. Dora, Florida, just north of Orlando, is having their Antique Fair this weekend. With the weather being so beautiful and free admission, this would be a great day trip with friends and family in tow. There are actually 2 flea markets. One has all these antiques and the other is more of a farmers market of fruit and vegies. Hours are 9-5pm, both Saturday and Sunday.
Also this weekend is the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival. They have a wonderful Farmer's Market on Saturday, as well, from 7am-1pm so come early for that. Delicious candied apples located on the inside of the building are a must!! Try the cinnamon white chocolate which is my favorite. I also got one for my son, with FSU colors out of chocolate. They are delicious!!
Plant Sale at Leu Gardens is going to start at 9am to 5pm Saturday till Sunday. They recommended you bring a plant cart or wagon for your purchases. Free admission all weekend during the sale. Located at 1920 N. Forest Ave., Orlando. 407-246-2620 www.leugardens.org
Also, the Parade of Homes is also happening in Volusia County. See more at www.VolusiaParade.com
Well, if you don't find something from all of these ideas, I'd like to suggest that you just try a local city's farmer's market. If you don't end up liking the one you go to, just drive on over to the next cities' until you find just what you want. I've been known to go to as many as 3 in one Saturday morning, sampling morsels as I go. Tons of good food, nice folks, and beautiful weather to enjoy your time.
Talk to you soon,
Beverly
