Picket Fence Mermaid Dear Shaker Card

Picket Fence Mermaid Dear stamped with Picket Fence Hybrid Black ink with my MISTI and then colored with my Copics. I die cut it out with the matching die. Using the Picket Fence A2 Shaker die with plastic from a page refill, I die cut it out. The center die of the shaker die set is slightly smaller rectangle so as to pull the plastic back. Using the Current Fish 6x6 stencil with the Paper Glaze Ocean Poppy paste I made the background. I then used Distress Oxide in Mermaid Lagoon (so appropriate, right?) and Squeeze Lemonade to make it look like the ocean floor. Before I combined all of the pieces together, I heat embossed the sentiment with Wow Embossing powder in Iris from Marion Emberson Designs. I love all of the purples so much. I also added the Purple Side of the Rainbow gem mixes near the sentiment. I didn't own any more PF sequins so added Catherine Pooler sequins in North Pole and Charleston combined. I have enjoyed the creativity making this piece and am so thrilled with how it came out! Hope you enjoy it, too!

House Mouse Tunnel Shaker Card

Here's another one of the dies from Creek Bank Creations called a Tunnel Card. Julie has a wonderful video on how to use this die by attaching a die to acetate before die cutting with it. It was so helpful and it made making this cute card a breeze. The card base is cut completely out of white cardstock and then added one last layer of Echo Park Party 6x6 pattern paper atop the whole card. I sealed the inner layer and added these flower sequins in two colors and sizes. The nice thing is that it folds flat so as to mail it easily. I added the Thickers Turquoise glitter 6 due to the challenge on House Mouse Challenge.

House Mouse Shaker Birthday Card: Eat Cake

I have be virtual cropping with local ladies each weekend and this is the card I made due to the Bingo card!!
No photo description available.
I played the diagonal line from upper left to lower right: Beads, Stamped image, Free Space, 3 different pattern papers, Buttons. The buttons and beads are on the inside of the shaker so as to fulfill that in one fell swoop! Yay! Also, I had to start with nothing done ahead of time and that's why my MISTI is there to show I had everything prior to the crop challenge. The other card under the Misti pic on the left was one that was done during so that they knew I hadn't done it ahead. Boy to I have more mojo when someone tells me to do certain criteria. Hope you enjoy it and are staying safe and well!!

All the shaker pieces were from Queen & Company and the buttons make such a great sound when shuck!

This was so fun coloring all of these Stampendous House Mouse birthday images!! Used my copics in all different mouse colors for the 3 mice. I wanted to join a challenge that required 3 versions with same stamp image. I love how they came out!! Hope you enjoy them!

Creek Bank Creations Valentines cards

Creek Bank Creations Clear Foam Tape
Using stickers I already had, I put powder on the sticker side to De-stick them first. I used another die to cut out a small heart to make into a shaker. Now, the best new product I have found is this CBC Clear Foam Tape that has sticky on both sides and is easier than others to wrap around a hard shape like the heart. It made this so much easier!!! And when you look from the front side it does not show anything since it is clear.
The next shaker was even easier than that due to the rectangle shape! The frame to cover was a Pretty Pink Posh die cut out of white cardstock.
The

Supplies:
Creek Bank Creations or CBC Clear Foam tape

                                                               Glittered Scroll Heart
For the glittered Scroll Heart: First take a piece of copy paper of cardstock that is thin, and adhere it to the 6 inch roll of adhesive as seen here:
After cutting it from the roll, and flip it over and stick the other paper sidedown. She called it a "Paper sandwich". Here's her video  Next, I cut a piece of pink paper and adhered to the roll of Super Sticky tape and cut it away. No need to add more tape to this one since it will be on top.
I die cut the larger heart out of the "paper sandwich". Note:  I used my Platinum 6 and had no problem die cutting through the paper sandwich! But of course, use washi tape of painter's tape to hold it in place as seen here.
After die cutting the white heart out, take one side of the adhesive off one side.  Using Un-Du Adhesive Remover, put some of the liquid onto the adhesive and then take the pink scroll heart die cut piece and add it to it. This is the trick so that you can move the pink heart around till it is in place and then you have it down correctly. Pretty cool, right!?
Adding the Pixie dust (very fine glitter) is easy with the CBC Puffer! (See pic above) Before starting this,  add the Pixie dust to the inside of the Pixie Puffer. Now you are ready. I used a coffee filter or you can do it right into your trash can for less clean up!!! Wait for the Un-du to dry and the adhesive regains the stickiness. Now put the pink heart sandwiched to the adhesive onto a coffee filter, and "PUFF" the dust once or twice. Not much is needed. Using your finger moving across the glitter to fill it in to every crevice and insure that the glitter is all adhered. Viola'!!! That's it! So easy when you have the right tools! Now  I am literally glittering everything!!!! Love all the ways I can use this with glitter!!
Supplies:
CBC Scroll Heart Die
CBC Super Tacky Tape 6x27 yards
Pixie Dust
Pixie Puffer
Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Frames die
Un-Du can be bought at Michael's and Joanns or off Amazon.
Stickers were older Karen Foster from the sticker sheet.
Some Valentine papers from my stash.

Paper Smooches Let's Chill Snowman

Hey, I am here crafting away to get those gifts, gift tags, and cards made for my extra special friends and family.  My massive Christmas cards bonanza post is coming on Friday. Stay tuned for that. But for today I am doing my last post for
Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017 Challenge.
Paper Smooches was one company I began to follow many years ago and this was my very first stamp set. And since today is all about wanting to finish this year's Christmas tags 2017 Challenge, I felt it was appropriate to use him. So here it is:
I stamped on Neenah White Cardstock #80 with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and die cut it into a circle. I used a combination of Spellbinders dies from two sets as to have them stair step in size. The die cutting tool was my Platinum 6. The next steps were to cut a piece of transparency for the top layer, and using American Crafts Gold Glitter thick cardstock one piece a size larger, and 2 with the centers cut out. I sandwiched these (with the centers cut out) in between the larger gold glitter circle and the transparancey. Adhesive was Ranger Crystal Lacquer and did a fabulous job drying clear. I used Kennedy Grace Creations Chantilly sequins. I am apart of their design team and just loving using their sequins! Brings such fun to projects, don't you think?
Of course, I am getting ahead of myself. Copic Coloring is my favorite thing to do, and he was easy to color. Marker colors: C1, C3, but I added B000 to make him look "cold". His scarf colors: YG17, YG67, R29, R24 and carrot nose: YR07, YR15.
The tag and holly were cut from Bazzill Forest Green cardstock, with a gold Krylon pen used all around the edges. Such an easy technique to add pizzazz and dimension on darker papers. Adding the Christmas Red Stickles as "berries" to finish the holly. All adhered together again with Ranger Crystal Lacquer.
Day 12 Interactive whether sing, slide, shake or open.
