Graphic 45 Nature Sketchbook Double Layout

Our visit to Key West's Butterfly Conservatory. This is a double page layout featuring Graphic 45 Nature's Sketchbook, using the Monarch Majesty sheet of paper. I also used, the sticker sheet for the orange tag; the blue journaling chipboard for the opposite tag and 2 glittery brads; Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide blended around the edges of the blue pattern paper and Hand (fussy) Cut butterflies and diamonds (my design); 2 Prima flowers were added as well. My sticker letters were died with the ink and added using the name of the paper as the title. Of course, I had to add some bling to it, so here is a close up. Enjoy!

Budapest Matthias Church Layout

This is a layout of our Viking Grand European Cruise back in June 2024. I dug out some older papers from7 Gypsies' Gypsy Market Sharne and Moe. I fussy cut the image from the Sharne pattern paper, and added black paper to the back to make it more sturdy as well as stand out. I had custom made leather copied paper I had purchased for junk journaling and used that for the mats. The tag is another previously handmade and used for this. Letters were added to the ThermoWeb weave ribbon at the bottom. Bling also.

Prima Marketing double page layout

This was an act of love making this fun double page layout. I used everything I had laying around. 10 companies of products are on this page at least! It is of Passau, Germany where we just walked around the town and took in all of the fun shops and sites. The above pic is Cafe Simon and the heir to the company, Walter Simon. He was in the shop the day I returned. So on this day, I showed him my layout with his pic from my phone, of a previous layout and he was thrilled! So of course I then had another pic taken of him and myself. What a wonderful bakery and guy!! Hope to come back yet again. Delicious gingerbread!
This layout is one of an album from our Viking Grand European River Cruise.

Prima Marketing Urban Cosmos Hurricane Layout

Using Prima Urban Cosmos collection from 2007, I made this double layout about Hurricane Milton clean up in October 2024. The papers are Ethnic, Suburb, and Metro. I cut the Ethnic and Suburb into circles 1/2 inch different sizes with my Creative Memories Large circle maker using the blue blade and then tracing the inner circle and fussy cutting it out. I then ripped the edges and turned them up to add texture. I tore the remaining left over pieces to small slivers into strips to place where the other smaller pics were. I cut the title on my Cricut Explore using the Birthday Bash cartridge on Design Space. I glued it all together and very happy with it. Hoping to not have to do another hurricane layout for a while

Kaiser Craft Sweet Nothing Double layout of Passau, Germany

I used Love Letters Paper from the Sweet Nothings collection By Kaiser Craft as well as, All Yours. I had an extra sheet with the angel so chose that to fussy cut it all our and added the angel with pop dots. I used the rest of that Love Letters to cut it down to strips of 2 x 8 inches and after inking all edges with Walnut Distress ink I arranged them as seen to go behind the photos. I then began using matching flowers from my collection from all different companies including Prima Marketing, Blue Fern and Petaloo. I didn't like how thick some were so I removed the stamins and added pearls to some and Nuvo Drops in Pearl to others. Some leaves, and fancy brads were also added. To add a title, I chose Kaiser Craft English Rose rub-ons to the first photo. I did add a "d" to make it Treasured moments. Hope you enjoy it! I just love these papers!
The photos are of us listening to the organ concert at the St. Stephen's Cathedral in Passau, Germany. I took the pics and the oval pic is of city guide outside the church who recommended coming back to hear it. The organist doesn't want himself to be seen during the concert so this is of him when he was practicing earlier in the day. Beautiful music and melody.

Photoplay Hello Lovely double page Friends Layout

After attending the fabulous Stampfest Winter Convention in Clearwater, FL, I made sure to come home and make a layout of all of my friends I met up with. Using Photoplay Hello Lovely, and my Cricut Explore with the Wanderings cartridge and another one. I fussy cut from the Banner Day sheet, and used 2 sheets of the Lovely Floral for the bg of both sides. I cut the Fabulous cream with green dots down and place on top of the bg leaving 1/2" around outer edge. The So Sweet paper was used to cut on the Cricut for Friends. And the back side of Lovely for the flourish. Typed my journaling and printed and added it to the page. Hope you enjoy it!! I had fun and wanted to make sure to keep these memories!! What a fun time!

Jungle Guides Crop layout

Using the fun Echo Park Wild Thing collection, I designed and made this layout. I used a Creative Memories large circle cutter with Bazzill swiss dot orange cardstock. We had a fantastic time and won again the 2nd place in the costume contest. The last pic on the right is of Lee Ann and I eating out in Inverness at Stumpknockers which is a fabulous restaurant that I highly recommend!! Had no where to put the photo so added it to this layout of the same theme! We have so much fun at our Scraptique Retreats!!
