Kennedy Grace Creations Sweet Rose Card

Today I am over on Kennedy Grace Creations blog for this beautiful card using the Beautiful Bloom-Sweet Rose stamp set and the sentiment is from their Grace's Little Note stamp set. The sequins are Kennedy Grace Creations Pink Passion. The card is layers of the Spellbinders Mystical Embrace dies. I die cut it twice and then adhered on the top horizontal bar and flourishes above it. It folds perfectly to open and reveal a sentiment. The image is colored using the following Copic Sketch markers: RV19, RV25, RV29, YG11, YG13, Y15, Y08.

Graphic 45 Safari cards

These are all made using the Graphic 45 Safari papers. I just let the paper tell me what to do. Some fussy cutting the flowers and then added My Favorite Things Leafy die cuts with cardstocks from my stash. Most are made on black cardstock to match the backgrounds. I also used Tonic Crystal drops in matt English Mustard to add accent drops on some of the cards. Black burlap twine was also added until I ran out. Some elements were popped up as well. Enjoy!

These are all made using the Graphic 45 Voyage Beneath The Sea project sheets and then made how I wanted to because I didn't like everything the way they wanted to. The cards are from extra pieces of cardstock not the origninal sizes. Just love these papers and images especially the mermaid.

Kennedy Grace Creations Grace's Little Note Card

Today's post is using the Kennedy Grace Creations Grace's Little Note.  So many images are great to compliment another larger image, but today I am going to use this often overlooked one, to make a simple card. One that have intended for a dear friend.
First, I loved how fast and easy it was to use this particular image to make a square card, or even to use it to frame another image. I used my MISTI tool to align the stamp for this 4 1/2 inch square center piece, and then just fliped it for each side, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad. The sentiment was from the Time to Blossom stamp set. It is a sweet and thoughtful card and I plan on making more. Great to send to friends far and near. The Sequins were Enchanted Evening which is a collection of  sparkly sequins, stars, seed beads in green tones, and gold, and was the perfect compliment of to the violet colors.
Here are the Copic Sketch markers I used: YG06, YG11, YG13, V12, V15, V17, 0.
Once colored I chose a complementary violet-purple cardstock to bring out more of the deeper violet colors in the flowers. The white paper used for the image and card base are Nenah Bright White #110 pound paper. I added the ribbon to soften the card and bring a feminine touch to it.
A card with these pretty flowers and this sweet and thoughtful sentiment is perfect for so many occasions and will delight whomever receives it. For this reason, I plan on making many more of them. Hope you enjoy it as well.
                                                 Yours truly,
                                                        Beverly Jordan
